    Tech has not made it a rivalry, yet. You have to win occasionally to make it a rivalry, something Tech hasn't done lately against UGA, last win for tech vs UGA was 2016. When 1 team dominates year after year, it's just another game on the schedule, not a rivalry.

    UGA shouldn’t be looking any further than Sept 28. As it stands we are Alabama’s b****. That must change. That’s step 1 this season

    And I got down voted down for pointing that out 2 weeks ago 😆 to be honest, It made me chuckle seeing a down vote, I'll have the same reaction if this gets voted down too lol seeing 3 of the same post is irritating, unnecessary, and needs to be corrected.

    It's games like TX-GA that make you understand why people love college football.…no matter what changes hit the game.

    It will probably be the biggest test of our players and coaching staff in a hostile environment that we've seen in a pretty long time. I definitely think it's a bigger game than Bama if you look at how loaded and talented Texas is this season. It will be two of the best QBs in the country going head-to-head. Who's going to prevail? I think Sark is definitely a better offensive mind than Bobo, and the way the Longhorns moved the ball around and at will against the Wolverines should concern any opponent. His use of TE Helm reminded me of Monken's play calling. So honestly, right now with the way the Longhorns are playing, I'd pick this game as the one loss for the Dawgs that I could live with.

    Of course, both teams could fall apart and expose glaring weaknesses between now and then, but I doubt it.

    Moving on...The Vols finally have a great defense and will be a handful in Athens. But, the Dawgs will prevail. Nico looks like another good Heupel QB with lots of athletic and playmaking ability.

    Ole Miss is the other opponent that might be our next toughest matchup in Oxford after TX. You never know what Kiffin has got up his sleeve, and Dart is playing well. Their LOS players are stout and solid this season.

    After seeing Bama last week, I am less concerned about them. They have vulnerabilities and we are going to want payback for keeping us out of the playoffs. After a tough match, Dawgs will prevail in Tuscaloosa.

    Hold everything, not so fast with the Georgia/Texas speculation…….at this point Texas has yet to play a game against competitive competition…..Colorado St, team that lose to Hawaii before getting waxed by the Longhorns, a completely eviscerated Michigan that was tested at home by Fresno St…..Texas will get their first legit test this weekend against Texas San Antonio…..the winning factor will be Texas depth, I expect a close game. Georgia manhandled a very good Clemson team and easily handled TT. Kentucky, SEC road game will be a challenge but just the adversity The Dawgs need at this time. The Dawgs face Bama, Auburn, Miss St before the show down in Austin…..The Longhorns face La Monroe, Miss St and The Okies……if indeed steel sharpens steel…….The Dawgs will slice up ole Bevo in a burger banquet…..1SICemDawgs1 and Brooksie…..you guys know how to burst a Dawgs Dream Bubble….all this time I thought the "Three Peats" were because of my propensity for pontificating prominence concerning all things DAWG NATION….bring on the down votes!!!!!

    @GtheGreek

    I understand what you are saying. Honestly, the Longhorns have a very manageable schedule and could be undefeated going into what might be an SEC Championship game for them. But, I do think they are loaded and destroyed a Michigan team that was supposed to have a better than average defense, even with losing a bunch of players on both sides of the ball to the NFL. Heck, Texas played without their starting RB (injured), and just sent in other guys who could run over the Wolverines defense just as well and catch passes like TEs. They have 3-4 ELITE receivers and TE Gunnar Helm is Brock Bowers reincarnated (7 catches, 98 yards). He is the real deal. Ewers is the best QB we will face this season. I'm hoping the Red River Rivalry the week before will go into overtime and possibly have those Longhorns coming into the game against the Dawgs a bit gassed. I think both teams will be facing their toughest competition of the regular season. It may come down to how the key injuries look for both teams coming into the game.

    Bama's Milroe is just a barely above average QB who makes mistakes and isn't that accurate of a passer. His feet are his greatest threat, but they haven't had to use those feet much so far this season. We lost to them last year because neither McConkey nor Bowers were anywhere close to 100%. DeBoer hasn't played against Kirby before (unlike Sark), and I know Kirby and company can tee up a better game plan than DeBoer. I suspect that game will be close as usual in the 2nd half, but the Dawgs win in the end.

    That's why I do believe Texas is going to be our biggest and toughest game - especially with 105,000 screaming Longhorns!
