Hello everyone, greetings from Stegeman Coliseum. Georgia is hosting Valdosta State tonight in its final preseason warm-up. Mark Fox is using the same starting lineup as Sunday's game at MIchigan State. It's pretty much the tallest lineup they could use::
PG-Turtle Jackson (6-4)
SG-E'Torrion Wilridge (6-8)
SF-Rayshaun Hammonds (6-8)
PF: Yante Maten (6-8)
C: Derek Ogbeide (6-9)

There's an idea out there that Mark Fox doesn't play freshman, but Rayshaun Hammonds has now started the first two (public) exhibition games, and Nicolas Claxton was the first player off the bench. Fifth-year senior Juwan Parker hasn't started, but he came off the bench second.
Also, this is an **** start to the game and I will spare you the details.
Sophomore guard Jordan Harris, who didn't play at Michigan State, hasn't played yet in this one, with 12:31 left in the first half, while nine other guys have. We'll ask Mark Fox about Harris after the game.
Who looks good in this game so far for Georgia? Yante Maten ... and three freshmen.
Maten, dominating physically as expected against a Division II opponent, has 12 points and could score on every possession if he wanted. Rayshaun Hammonds also has seven points, Teshaun Hightower has four and Nicolas Claxton has a 3.
Georgia leads 46-31 with two minutes left in the half: Georgia’s freshmen were a combined 5-for-6 from the floor, and Maten was 5-for-7, while the rest of the team is 6-for-20.
Georgia leads 51-34 at the half. The summation:
Yante Maten: 12 points, 7 rebounds
Rayshaun Hammonds: 10 points, 4 rebounds
Turtle Jackson: 8 points (2-for-4 on 3s), 2 assists
Derek Ogbeide: 7 points (only 3-for-8 shooting from the field), 6 rebounds
Teshaun Hightower: 4 points, 3 assists
Tyree Crump: 4 points, 2 rebounds
Nicolas Claxton: 3 points (1-for-2 on 3s), 1 assist
Juwan Parker: 2 points, 2 assists
Isaac Kante: 1 point
E’torsion Wilridge: 0 points in 9 minutes
Pape Diatta: 0 points in 4 minutes
Jordan Harris and Mike Edwards have not played, may be dealing with injuries.
Come on! Details!
Georgia has exceeded the 100-point park. I'll have a long list of observations up shortly.
