Did he have his mouth piece in when that happened?

Did I miss a new rule that players have to have mouth pieces on their face masks but they don’t have to have them in their mouths?

I’m thinking Bama at night in Tuscaloosa might be slightly tougher than KY at night in Lexington. Composure is important. So is tackling. So is being able to score a touchdown every once in a while. As is being able to stretch the field by being able to throw a football 35 to 50 yards downfield somewhere in the vicinity of a wide-open receiver.

Was thinking the same thing. I don't understand why it is now popular to have a mouthpiece but not use it. I watched the Kirby Smart post game show on FOX5. Showed a highlight of DLovett w/2(!) mouth guards. Both were dangling from his face mask. Wondering how "cool" it'll be when someone bites their tongue off or smashes some "permanent" teeth.

Humphrey seems to be getting better w/experience. Much needed for him to improve and surpass Everette as CB1. Everette may be at his ceiling already due to speed/quickness limitations.
