The OL played a little worse than Kirby wants to admit, at least in the media. I expect Freeling to get more snaps going forward. I do think we will all see a different team in Tuscaloosa.

I would expect a very experienced line to result in a better running game output. Could it be that we are very predictable in our 1st qtr play calls?

Even in Tate's absence, The Dawgs have one of the best, if not the best, O-Line in 2024….when you factor size, strength, depth, and experience…..the neutralizing factor is that most of our competition matches up on almost every factor…..we then need the utilize the next factor….where we once again are the best…..that would be play calls/schemes…..so far this season Bobo has been "stale vanilla", not showing many plays past what would utilize much more than our O-Line strength and quickness. I fully expect the play book to open….conservatively…in Tuscaloosa…..if you every play "Go Fish" with Mile or Kirby, you will NEVER know the strength of their hand, as they will only play cards just enough to win each hand….just like game day….it's all about winning each snap….if "plain vanilla" works why add sprinkles?

We've had several other years with high praise and even higher expectations for our OL, only to have them greatly underachieve. Look at UK's defensive front—not full of 5 stars but a formidable group when motivated. They dominated our OL last Saturday. How? They were motivated. Perhaps this is their problem——lack of motivation. I know the talent is there. Young men can accomplish great things if properly motivated.

On that video clip featuring Ratledge, 3 of UGA's offensive linemen ended the play on the ground. Freeling was tossed aside by a LB. May be time to start playing downhill football with the giant freshmen.
