UGA should have trademarked "3rd and Brock Bowers"!

After the Raiders upset the Ravens, can y'all imagine Monken telling the higher ups, "I told you to draft Bowers!"

UGA's best offensive player since Herschel.

I had no doubts that Bowers would play like the top TE chosen in the draft, and he has..GoDAWGS!

Bowers is a gifted player with a double dose of toughness and heart. The key for his career will be avoiding injuries. That is difficult to do for TE's considering they catch the ball in traffic , near the LOS (tackled by big DL) and take hits from every angle.

High praise from Gronk (Gronk only pawn in game of life). But Gronk took a beating during his career leading to diminished skills and early retirement. An injury history casualty. Another (HoF?) TE who's skills declined over a long career was Jason Witten. By the last 3rd of his career you could measure Witten's 40 time on a sundial.

Thought he was the best player in the draft. Not many guys can lineup as a TE, RB, Split End or WR and excel. Gives Linebackers as well as DBs headaches when he's out there. He's got the speed and the ability to seperate from the coverage. Raiders won the jackpot with Brock.
