Oky vs Tulane…only 349 Total Off, 2 turnovers by Tulane
One big win 51-3 over mighty Temple who is 1-3 and just got their first win. But they lost to Navy and Coastal Carolina.
UFK signature win? REALLY?!
Give us a break. We know you want to be in Obknoxville…so buh bye!
Sorry, Oklahoma did not test Tennessee.
Oklahoma kept wetting the bed. THeir QB was so awful, I'm thinking as I'm watching it this guy is having one of the worst games I've ever seen for a QB. Herbscreet trie do tblame it on the O-line but eveidently Venerable agreed with me. He announced theynow have a QB competition.
T He game could have easily gone Okl's way, if the QB played even decent.
I agree. Arnold was supposed to be a top SEC QB this season. Rivaling Beck/Milroe/Evers for SEC supremacy. When I read that preseason I thought I'd need to see that before anointing anyone to that level. That was some of the worst QB'ing I have ever seen. If UGA can get Beck back on track ….. let me rephrase that. Beck must get back on track for UGA to have any chance to achieve its goals this season. Granted a big part of team and QB success is dependent on the OL playing up to previous standard.
TN DL looks better than expected. The rest of the D does not look especially tough. The OK D brought the fire. Each one of those boys are football players. It was nice to see a D bring that much effort and desire to stop an offense. Haven't seen that kind of fire from the UGA D in a while.
All that being said, the TN O scored 25 pts. The OK D showed the kind of effort (and the scheme?) needed to slow down the TN O. UGA has better athletes than OK. Will the UGA defenders come with the level of intensity needed? Will CKS move CB Everette (bigger, less quick CB) to mirror Bru McCoy (bigger, less quick WR) like he did with Ringo and Jauan Jennings in '21?
Iamaleava showed his inexperience at times. He could be Hendon Hooker. But he is not there yet.
regarding TN. It looked like they were playing not to put up 50. As in an intentional effort not to show all their cards. Yes the OKLA D looked good but just didn’t feel like the coach wanted to embarrass his old team.
Very happy to see Freeze called out. Auburn seems to attract HC's with huge egos and low morals (e.g. Tuberville).
