“The Tigers lost despite achieving 26 first downs to Oklahoma’s 11, and out-gaining the Sooners 482 yards to 291 yards.”

    Daaaaadgum.

Hey, I know I’ve harped on TX here a good bit lately, and the final score took a leap, and that it’s not exactly on-topic except that it’s still related to SEC turnouts, but did anyone else catch how the Horns were only up of the phony Bulldogs by barely over a TD toward the end of the third IN AUSTIN yesterday?

This team is very unpredictable. It can be a close uninspiring win or second half blowout. If Auburn puts up a fight it could be a long game because I don't see that "shut them down" or killer instincts they use to have with SB teams or even Jack Fromm lead teams. Let's get that swagger back and let's Go Dawgs!

My superstitious side has me on the fence about how this one goes. My superstitions, I should say, are reeediculous. I’ve got to have my dishes done. My living room and kitchen have to be clean. There are certain UGA shirts that I should not wear on Fridays. I even had an underpants regimen that was almost foolproof in the ‘21 and ‘22 seasons (ha!), and I’ve GOT to watch the game, either in person or on TV. I missed watching the KY and Bummer games directly this year for different reasons. I’ll be out of town for Auburn, but as I mentioned before, I’m at least sending my brother and nephew to take my and my wife’s place in the stands. I’m older but he’s been a Dawgs fan for longer (football just wasn’t my thing until I was good and grown), so that should be some good juju.

Lol, my superstition is don't wear a red Georgia Bulldog shirt or jersey the day before or during game day. I only wear dark blue or black shirts and pants. It just seemed like every time I wore my red jersey or shirt, they play the worst. Years ago, I actually took off an old red jersey at halftime of a game they were losing and threw it in the closet, covered it up with dirty clothes and put on a black shirt. Boom, instantly they scored and blew the team out. Obviously I started to connect the superstitious dots and I never looked back. Lol 😂 I know it's just a mind thing and I have no control but it works for me.

Bama at Vandy is a let-down game. You heard it here first. Lol! Maybe Beck can shrug his shoulders a few more times before he runs at half speed. I hope Kirby gets Stockton some reps this year because I don't see a Milroe waiting in the wings for next year.

I didn't wear any black underwear or shirt for the Bama game. I wore a white tee and the closest thing i have to silver shorts. Because black for that game, well, we know. Fat lotta luck that brought. I'm 41, and I'm starting to think superstition doesn't mean anything...

If this dejected Dawgs team doesn't come out firing on all cylinders, hungry, pissed off, and steamroll this pretty weak Tigers team then i predict we have no chance to truly recover this season. Oklahoma has no defense, so don't throw Auburn's yards in the game at me. Venables has got holes all over his defense and lots of injuries on offense.

We're either elite or we're not. Which is it?

Auburn is a dangerous game. They are extremely desperate there for they can play with wild and reckless abandon and not worry about penalties.

The other question is have our Dawgs recovered from being shell shocked ?? This Should be an easy game, But I advise Kirby and our Dawgs to Expect the Unexpected !!

Also I worry for our players as Auburn has a History of playing us dirty and taking cheap shots !! Go Dawgs utterly Crush Auburn !!

i listened to this game on the radio, and from what I heard Auburn owned OU. A nonsensical decision to throw when they were dominating on the ground lead to the game turning pick 6. With our somewhat less than potent run defense, i can see this being a real issue. Remember, the issues their QB gave us running in last year's game.
