I guess we can just take our resilient, moral "victory " and limp forward. Yay.

I'll take a win over a moral victory any day.

Which Dawg team shows up against Auburn - the First half team or the Q4 team? Do we start slow, fast, or not at all?

There were no winners for the Dawgs on Saturday.

My comments disappeared.??? But what i was saying is I agree with Vetdawg. This team didn't execute and perform to, what fans have seen over the years, the CKS standard with two weeks of preparations. It seems that something is going on with the coaching staff and players IMO.

Water under the bridge now, but I am curious as to what people think.

Had Georgia scored a touchdown on the last drive with a few seconds remaining, do they try for two for the win, or take it to overtime? The decision would say a lot about CKS view of the defense and the offense. I think he would have tried for 2 since I don’t think he has the confidence to win an OT against Bama.

There were absolutely no winners on the UGA side of the ball last Saturday night. Sorry, but is isn't good enough that our four million dollar man Carson Beck is "upset." That's really lame.

As much as I love Kirby Smart, he should really be ashamed of the lack of preparation for the game. He needs to review his policy of hiring his friends and families to be coordinators with seven figure salaries if they are not really earning them.

The team has been on a slow and liesurely decline since we won the 2021 natty. The team needs to find some tough leaders and rededicate themselves to winning on the field instead of the Clark County drag races at 2AM. Don't know if Carson Beck is capbable of being one of those leaders. The other players know. Smart should have the players elect their quarterback by secret ballot. They will know best.

We got outcoached plain and simple. I noticed in one interview Kirby said, "We went to a simpler defense in the 2nd half." Sometimes you can overanalyze and overthink things, and bad things happen. Two weeks to prepare, and this is the result? Remember the acronym: K.I.S.S.—Keep It Simple ****… No need for a $1000 plan when a $100 plan will do. Now, we have to run the gauntlet, and with Texas and Tennessee playing the way they are, it might get real dicey...

The poor 1st half performances have been an issue for a couple of years. 2 plays against Bama in the 1st half killed any momentum we could have had. As much as I like Arian, he is inconsistent at best. The miss on the 1st drive was all on him. I think that was one of Carson's best throws in 2 years, a perfect deep ball that went right threw his hands. The 1st interception was also on him. He missed the call from Carson and did not break off his route. If you watch the replay, Oscar heard it and was already blocking for Arian as Arian was unknowingly sprinting down field. Not good for a multi year player. As far as 1st halves go, maybe Kirby needs to give his half time speech before the game. I wish it was that simple. Long season and plenty of time for improvement on a pretty young team.

Just my humble opinion but I think Kirby would have went for the two points. Like you I don’t think he wanted to go into OT. That said IF we can get that second half Dawgs on Offense and learn how to set the edge on Defense the season might still go really well. I realize that’s a Huge IF. Oh and stop arm tackling on Defense as well. I know I sound very pessimistic but actually I’m not prepared to write this season off just yet. We’ve All seen our Dawgs go from tragedy to triumph before. Go Dawgs !!

I have a different take on this game. If we had lost 30-0 or 50 -7 then yeh I'd be crying in my beer if I drank, but I don't.

I believe this game will be the game that turns our season around. Sounds crazy I know but hear me out. Would it have been awesome to pull off the greatest comeback in UGA history? Of course. Did you see the look on the BAMA faithful when we took the lead? Imagine the BAMA faithful if we had pulled it off and how they would be talking today? Their boo-birds and nay-sayers would have been out in full force. And what was the difference in "Woe is us" and "we're great?" 7 points.

My take is the coaches had a terrible game plan. Terrible. Whatever they called in the first quarter made little to no difference. Our guys were not juiced like BAMA was. Before they ran out onto the field the BAMA guys were back in the tunnel chanting some type of Hawain war chant or something, but it sounded formidable. Even the announcers said BAMA was fired up and UGA looked like it was just business as usual. And they were right.

ENough of these flat starts, get some freaking juice in you before you run out on that field to play! THe old Saban/CKS stoicism is a dead relic of the past IMHO. I think DeBoer did exactly what he needed to do to change the culture there. HEck at one point in the first quarter I texted my sister(huge UGA fan) and said, "Bring Saban back!" Jokingly (well sort of). DeBoer will have great HS players drooling to come play at BAMA with the new cuture.

I honestly believe we're not going to see anymore of this slow start, we can just bully the team, attitude from ourcoaches or players. I think CB grew up alot. THis was his Stetson Bennett/Alabama loss where we got blown out and SB didn't lose another game in his career. I thnk we can now run the table. It's hard as you know what to beat a really good football team twice in the same season. OK tip your cap to BAMA. THe next time we meet is ours! THe defense learned how to best play BAMA in the 2nd half. Learn from your mistakes. Basically shutting them down for the better part of 3 quarters.

2 times now the coahes haven't been able to come up with a plan that matched our strengths best against BAMA's. weaknesses. Shame on them. EIther BAMA has far superior players, or we're not getting the best out of our guys! Receivers running wide open and our receivers covered like a blanket. Milroe, JUst running around the end with no one there? Find me someone who can set the edge KIrby!! My take now that KY beat Ole MIss is that KY fiasco looks suddenly a whole lot better. OLE MIss for all their offense against weaker team is not that great after all and Dart looked like he was nothing special. Tennesse's win over Oklahoma suddenly looks not so impressive given Auburn beat the pants off of OKLhoma but somehow lost the game. It's still our apple to win! Go DAWGS!!

Loser: the Georgia fan base for not getting a full game effort all season long and having to hear the garbage from the s t u p I d fans from that team to the west until next season. Georgia won’t play them again this season.
