The Georgia running back room still had a big impact in the team's loss to Alabama.

Teams are keying on stiooping the run and daring Beck to throw it.

    “COULD???”

We Dawg fans have been saying that and posting it on these ridiculously UN-user friendly message boards for 2+ seasons now, @Connor Riley.

    where have you been?

The slow starts are not a one-off with this team, they are a character trait.

And who constructs that? Mike Bobo does. And who endorses it? The Head Ball Coach, Kirby Smart.

Their play design and entire philosophy on offense and defense is to play that way in the first half.

I personally think it stinks and I do not support it in any way, shape, or form.

And up until the last two games, Coach Smart didn’t care because his team’s talent and defense would come through and he could say “See, this way works!”.

    Well, now, not so much!

It almost (and should have) cost the Dawgs against Kentucky, and it definitely did against Saban’s former team.

Now, with Texas’s and UT’s offenses coming up, that philosophy and gameplan will cost him in those games as well. And maybe again against Ole Miss’s offense that paid the price for their lackadaisical attitude against Kentucky.

It is time for a change in game plans, this isn’t your Dad’s college game anymore.

They will drop 40 on you before you can blink an eye or move a slow LB you have like #32 for Georgia.

With the clock constantly running except on incompletions there is literally no time to run the ball(except occasionally) once you fall behind by 3TD's.

How about they do something different!! Try a two back set and get you playmakers the ball, put them back there together, split one out . That falls on Bobo and Kirby .

I hope the reason Nate is not playing is not due to his blocking.because you have a tight end

( Ben Yurosek) who struggles to block air.

Reading this story makes me believe even more that there is more to this Frazier thing Saturday than just a coach's decision. So, Cash Jones got 27 snaps because he's supposedly some sort of All-Pro pass blocker and receiver. OK. He did fine, so OK for him. But then, Smart says he wishes he could have had more carries for Branson Robinson. So why did he need more carries and not Frazier? Jones and Robinson got 29 snaps between them. You're telling me that Frazier, right now, isn't good enough to have picked up 5-7 of those, or even 3-5? I'm not buying it. I think he was either injured (doubt it or Kirby would have just said it) or (more likely) the coaches are upset with him about something and wanted to send him a message. Maybe he's slacking off in practice or in the classroom, or in film study. I don't know. But I'm telling you guys, his lack of playing time ain't just about the game being out of hand. He's far too talented not to even get on the field. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't even think he played on special teams, which as the fourth-team running back with blazing speed, you'd think he'd be a prime candidate. As my grandmama would say, "something in the milk ain't clean."

From just the small sample, Frazier’s one of, if not the most, dynamic offensive player we have. Gotta be more to the story here.

The most concerning thing to me about Frazier and the rest of the freshman is how this will be used against UGA in recruiting. Bama’s freshman played something like 4 times the snaps as UGA’s. When recruiting head to head, Bama can point to that and say come to the program where you can actually see the field.

You can't have a good running game unless you have good OL play and production. We really don't seem to have that production. I hope we're not in that familiar position of having a much talked about offensive line—-and then on game day what do they do? They underperform. With all of these 4 and 5 star "Big Uglies", we should not be having this issue. (Thank you Keith Jackson)
