ATHENS — Perhaps the most telling image from Saturday’s game in the Deep South’s Oldest Rivalry was how empty one part of the Georgia student section was in the third quarter.

Now if Ark can pull off a win vs TN it’ll make our future a little brighter. There’s TONS of work to be done by our Dawgs. But we have Allot of young but high quality players. It’s my hope that as they gain experience they can get bette and better. Go Dawgs !!

Proud of Drew Bobo !! To be the third string Center he has done a very capable job thus far.

This was a solid win, but I'm now convinced that this isn't going to be a dominating team on either side of the ball. I see a 9-3 record and maybe making the playoffs. 85 yards in penalties for the Dawgs has got to be making Kirby crazy. And after seeing Vandy win and put 40 on Bama, I scratching my head completely puzzled wondering why we had such a tough time with the Tide. I guess you never know.

He looked like a whipped little whatever animal you want to put him as. 🤣

I agree about the loss to Bama with a proviso. Playing them at home is a whole different animal. I’m not saying we’d have won based solely on being in Athens, but I do think it would have been a plus. On the 9-3 season that Might be true.

But both Ole Miss and TN are looking beatable. TX is the most daunting game. We have Allot of young but quality players, it’s my Hope that with every snap they’ll improve. Auburn came in a Very determined team they have some Big receivers to try to cover and their RB is an absolute beast !! Kirby warned about him Allot before the game and he certainly lived up to the warning. We’ll see how it pans out.

Wonder if the young receiver Williams feels like making snarky trolls now ??

instant observations. Corner backs are not elite- yet. Pet peeve. Corner backs celebrating a play where they clearly got beat but was still an incompletion

@navydawg...yes, playing Bama at their house is tough, but we proved we could hang with them in the 2nd half. We just made the game so much tougher with that crazy first half performance.

I do think Ole Miss and TN are beatable. Texas will be a long shot. The Longhorns and Buckeyes may be the best of the elites, and it looks like Penn State is a very good team. This NIL and transfer portal may be finally bringing more parity to some outlying teams. Vandy's QB looked impressive.

You might well be right about Dawgs going 9-3. I just hope you’re wrong. If we don’t improve Allot more you’ll end up being right, if we don’t do even worse. Our O line has Got to be more consistent as well as the D line. Let’s Hope and Believe !! Go Dawgs !! P. S. Your comments are always reasonable and well thought out, objective and constructive criticism but not just bashing our Dawgs. I always appreciate that !!

This team looks more like Mark Richt’s team. That is human! Grit fight but missing some assignments and getting penalties at dumb moments. Bobo looks like he lost his ability to keep teams off balance and guessing what play will be next. Love my UGA football but sense a step back.
