AUSTIN, Texas — Kirby Smart knew he had to walk a very line. Say the wrong thing, and he would likely earn a hefty a fine by the SEC.

DN (I.e., Connor) still can’t let go of (way past) “yesterday’s news” when it comes to the MS QB “shove”… explain to the readers how exactly that’s relevant to the officiating in the UT game?

Agree with others that the officiating was pretty questionable is some cases… but no worse than the Bama/Tenn game, which was even crazier to watch from a penalties perspective!

The officiating controversy comes a week after SEC commissioner Greg Sankey noted that Smart should’ve been flagged for making contact with Mississippi State QB Michael Van Buren.

Sankey was present in Austin to witness the game._____Conner Riley DN

Are we suggesting, there's a connection between those two events? A little payback by The Commish?

Lol....hell, I wouldn't be a bit surprised. The game has become so crooked, that you have to win by a landslide, to make cheating, all but impossible to do,...without exposure.

I don't think exposure was a concern in Austin, tonight.

It didn't look like, the Officials cared, whether we...or Smart...knew they were cheating or not. Afterall....What can be done about it, AFTER the game. The damage is done.

The bettors and "participating Officials" [game, replay, SEC, etc.] are paid...pot's right Except for the team and players that got cheated..

Somebody...[AJC/DN]....needs to investigate and expose the pressures, influence and impact, "Sports Betting" is having on CFB. Officiating is getting worse and worse...as Betting revenue increases higher and higher.

Is everybody...including Sports Media...part of the same grift? Lol

In UGA's case....Versus Texas...They outplayed the Longhorns and the Refs...and bad luck. I couldn't be prouder of this pack of Dawgs. Coaches and players, alike. What an improvement on their tackling and pursuit angles!.

Kirby has every right to express his views. More Head Coaches need to call this crap out. As long as they are under "gag order"....cheaters gon' cheat.

The questions are.…if coaches aren't allowed to point out what everybody can plainly see...."Who is minding the store?"...."Who is holding Who, accountable?".…"How can a team, cheated out of a win, be compensated for an unjust loss...after the fact?".

So many questions, regarding officiating crews...so few answers. They're being protected like the Secret Service. Lol

With everything going on at the time....phantom UGA penalties...uncalled Texas penalties.….constantly mis-spotting the ball in Texas' favor....bottles being thrown, and whatnot....

I'm Surprised....Kirby didn't collect his team, and walk off the field, to make a statement of protest....cause, we all know these things don't fix themselves after the fact. A loss still counts as a loss.…no matter how bad you were cheated. Former Michigan Opponents found out that little fact, last year.

I'm Shocked....Texas wasn't flagged for Delay of Game or Unsportsman-like Conduct...or Something....for creating a dangerous work environment, when tossing bottles out on the field.

Kirby's right! This isn't the last Fan'trum we see, going forward. Texas was rewarded for throwing a hissy. We all know what happens when you do that with your kids?. Lol

Standby for "Fan'trum 2"....Coming to a stadium, near you. Lol.

NEVER!!...EVER!!!....CHANGE A non-reviewable CALL!. I don't care, if you had a change of heart about what you saw. The philosophy behind that rule-of-thumb, is...your first instinct is usually right.

If given five minutes to reconsider....with new knowledge of outcomes….You can talk yourself out of a good call...into a bad call, depending on internal biases. Whether intentional or not.

This was my favorite. I think that is a safety instead they got the ball out to the 40. One of my sons said it wouldn't be a safety because the OL has to be in the endzone. I think he is wrong. Anyway, I know there is holding on every play but

how do you miss this? I saw it live my sons thought I was just in the moment. I went to my phone Youtube tv app and rewound it to show them.

I believe their offensive line made as many tackles as our defense made over the course of the game.

Look closer. There are many more examples like that.....In EVERY "Big Game" the Dawgs have played in, over the last several years [at least].

Uneven application of Holding and Interference penalties as well as...Spotting the Ball, Hands to the Face, Facemask, Roughing the Passer, etc....has been a recurring problem, when the Dawgs play in a game with heavy action.

Those penalties and calls, are unevenly applied....because, those penalties can't be challenged. The ball placement issue is the exception, in that it can be challenged. However....It's rarely challenged....so they add or subtract a few yards, feet or inches from virtually every spot, given the opportunity.

"They" use the stuff that can't be challenged, to skew a game's final score, and/or stats.

INTERFERENCE....used to be one of those calls that couldn't be challenged.

BUT.....Texas' Fans and Coaches challenged an Interference Call, Saturday.....AND....It was overturned. It's just that simple. No smoke…just fire.

Then...the Commish weighs in, to blow smoke up our asses. We've seen enough of those kind of shenanigans over the last several years, to know, exactly what it looks and feels like, to be lied to by the people in-charge.

That so -called "explanation" from the SEC doesn't pass muster. It was sloppy and ill-conceived. Why?

Why did they feel the need to immediately Lie about the course and duration of events? In effort to tamp down their exposure to corruption allegations?

Unless "We" investigate....we'll never know. What we DO know.....is that we can't count on "them" to investigate, "themselves".

That being said....the people are onto the "Fake News Game", being played in The SEC Offices....and, everywhere else. We know a lie, when we hear it…and, we know corruption, when we see it. It's just a matter of "Time" before they get caught in their own web.

Lol....'All the cow manure in the world...can't cover-up, the FACTs of this case."_____said, Perry Mason.
