There's a reason all wr's wear gloves. They are a huge advantage. Especially in rain or cold weather. They are extra tacky/grippy. Didn't you ever wonder why you see all these1 handed catches?

UGA's problem is not gloves. Luckie's "drop" was out of his reach. Beck has not been as accurate this season. Lovett made a business decision on his drop on the slant. He was looking at the D. Humphrey was also looking for the D on his drop. Those guys were afraid to get hit. Bell has okay hands but he is mostly a body catcher. He needs to improve his hands catching. Remember all those body catches Brock Bowers made? Yeah me either.

If Bobo is going to call passes over the middle UGA needs to find guys that have courage and can catch.

The question is what is up with Beck's arm? Maybe coaches need to get him less reps. Give his arm some rest and recovery time.

A game with no gloves and leather helmets should get you back into a positive frame of mind.

"If Bobo is going to call passes over the middle UGA needs to find guys that have courage and can catch."……Great point UGADad20…..II thought that's why were took Yurosek to help Delp over the middle….and block…I'd like to see more Colton Heinrich, Jadon Reddell, or even Patrick Hester, BIG TALL BODIES catching in the middle as it seems to me that Luckie reminding me more of McConkey the way he get open and his drive to add yards after the catch. Passing is at best a 50/50 deal, good placement by the QB and focus by the receiver…of course it's never 50/50 so both parties have to be able to make adjustments…..Bowers was the Father of Focus and the Admiral of Adjustment then a run away train in yards after….we have several that with a bit of effort could come close to emulating Bowers skill set……perhaps one or two of the young men previously mentioned???? IMHO, the TE room is the key and it's the most opportune time to take that big step up!

I am not sure that the young guys are the answer. If a young player is better CKS usually plays them and the guys they pass up end up leaving. That makes room for more young guys. The older guys that stay usually have loyalty, and playing time, from CKS.

UGA's problem at WR is not having a star player that is a guaranteed go to guy. UGA has had Bowers (really a 6*), Pickens (5*) and McConkey ( and AD Mitchell -who vastly outplayed their rankings when healthy and here).

The receivers UGA has are okay. That's good IF they are consistent. They have not been consistent especially ASmith. They need to work on catching the ball and being in the right play/location on every play. When they are not they turn the ball over. Error free football will be the key to winning big/close games.

IF there are guys that shy away from catching the ball over the middle it would be foolish to keep calling that play for that player. We'll see what Bobo does.

This could actually be a case where UGA's physical practices work against the team. UGA WR's get it in their heads that they will get hit going over the middle in games like they get hit by UGA DB's in practice.

UGA absolutely needs to get the TE's more involved. Yurosek inability to contribute is a complete mystery at this point. Delp lacks confidence. He is not very fast and is inconsistent catching and holding onto the ball. I expect to see more targets for Luckie going forward.

Suggestion for improving the passing game: stop throwing it to players not wearing a UGA jersey and catch the ball.
