We do now ask that all of you good people register as a member of our forum in order to see the sugar that is falling from our skies, so to speak.

So playing in Tampa is for the money. What does UGA get for playing Tech in the Mercedes Stadium? Tech gets 10 million, for what?

I’m actually ecstatic we are playing the “bugs” at Mercedes. It creates a “neutral” field scenario and opens a gazillion more seats for our fans. Go Dawgs…..demolish the lizards 🦎 tomorrow …..and smash the bugs 🐝 at Mercedes!!!

The game should be a home and home series. UGA loses the recruiting opportunities associated with a home game just to keep the world's largest cocktail party alive and Jacksonville is not a nice place to visit. I have friends who live there and they would rather come up to see us in middle Georgia than us coming to Jacksonville.

We used to work in the same office at Patrick AFB and Brevard county beats the hell out of Jacksonville. There are time I wish we had never left there; I was part of a Dawg group and they were the most rabid fans I have ever known.

Another kick between the legs for season ticket holders and Athens businesses. One less SEC home game on the schedule. Sold out to Jacksonville for the highest dollar. At least Napier is honest about it.

Also sold out for the most luxurious VIP treatment for UGA/Florida Athletic Department Board & Staff. Don't believe for a second that doesn't play a role in this decision process. A loss for Athens, Gainesville and season ticket holders.

The only way this will change to home and home is if the Georgia and Florida state legislatures step in and require it. Ultimately, these are state universities and are dependent on the respective governments for funding.
