I want to introduce my fellow Dawfans of the younger generation to the offensive football philosophy and playcalling of Mr Mike Bobo!
This offense under him looks EXACTLY like it did from 2007-2014 when he was calling the plays for Coach Richt.
No bit of difference as far as playcalling.
He has a better defense to lean on and much better toys to play with, but his fingerprints are all over this team on offense now.
It has been long enough now where not even Todd Monken’s scent is left on this team on offense.
Coach Smart’s defense and a RB from our hated rivals are the only reason this team is still in the top 10.
Bobo must go.
1st half observations:
Ole Miss owning the LOS
Dropped passes and an anemic offense: 69 yards in 2 quarters
No offensive scoring AT ALL by GA. 16 unanswered points by the Rebels.
Defense not holding up and is getting picked apart - first by letting a freshman QB go 5/6 and lead to Rebel's first scoring drive, and then by a hobbled Dart.
Giving up too many big plays
Pretty vanilla offensive game plan so far.
I LOVE Our Dawgs, Always Have and Always Will. But there are deep issues with This years Team. And guess where they start ?? Coaching…………
and, just for the record, at the two minute warning, Bobo’s offense has produced 74 net positive yards.
Thats it.
Beck and this offense should be embarrassed. What exactly does Bobo do during the week? This is a joke.
Out coached in the first half again
Yet ANOTHER CRAP half of offensive football!!! NO WAY this should be the case!!!
Why didn't UGA go after that punt with seconds left before the half?
Playing in front of the smallest crowd of the season and we’re playing shell shocked. I don’t want to hear about the wet field because ole miss is playing on the same wet field. They’ve got to stop waiting until the 4th quarter to turn it on because it might be too late tonight. Pathetic.
I have no clue how we’re ranked #3. That first half performance was one of the worst I’ve ever seen. Unless we blow it up in the second half we should drop out of the top 10.
Miss. dominated the first half. The offense is terrible. Same old screen plays, same old OL problems , same old slow starts. Those gifted 7 points in the beginning of game is very important.
I'm just not sure why Kirby is satisfied enough with the status quo that he doesn't make changes. The statue known as Beck is getting killed behind the line and WRs can't catch a cold. Heck, the interceptions have not started yet. I guess that will happen once we get the ball back in the 2nd half. It is just ridiculous that Georgia continues to put itself in these horrible positions. Come 'on, Kirby! Season is on the line! Wake your team up!
I think other than the Bama game, this is worst 1st half of offense that I've seen from the Dawgs this season.
And where did that defense that sacked Dart twice in the first minute of the game and then score a TD.....where did that defense go???
Beck has had 2 drive killing first down drops and his line is missing everything. I agree his year has been incredibly frustrating but this one isn’t on him.
I defended Bobo on here for a long long time. I honestly thought HE could develop but he Hasn’t and he Won’t . Time for him to go. I’d wait till post season but he needs to go !! Also Pay & Beg Will Muschamp to come back as DC !!
