SEC AJC Power Poll: Georgia big winner, panel disagrees with CFP, gives SEC title game hot take
ATHENS — The AJC SEC Power Poll has a bone to pick with the College Football Playoff committee when it comes to the order of league teams.

Glad to see this unanimous agreement among the panel about where the loser of the SECCG should go. I especially like Anwar and Kaylee's comments. They are spot on.
One thing is for certain: MUST beat them Jackets first!!
GO DAWGS and Happy Thanksgiving to all of DawgNation!
After all of the griping about the CFP Committe, these folks have done the EXACT same thing - ranking based on losses . . . There's no other way you can have Texas ranked above Georgia . . .
I agree with them that the SEC title game runner-up should get in the playoffs, but let’s be realistic. Based on the results from this so called playoff committee, I don’t see Georgia getting in the playoffs with a third loss in the SEC title game, regardless of how close it is. With losses to two teams with three losses behind us, at least one of them would be put ahead of Georgia. Anyone remember what happened last season with the loss by 3 in the sec title game? That scenario is still in play.
Go Dawgs! Wreck tech!
Happy Thanksgiving!
I wonder what they would think if the winner of the SECCG is UGA and the loser is now a four-loss aTM ?
Would/should the committee put them in then?
Just askin’…..I guess the key would be…..Don’t go into the championship game with more than two losses!
Go Dawgs! Hate on tech! It’s never too early!
Love seeing Bama out of the playoff picture..GoDAWGS!
If GA finishes 10 and 2, loses the SEC and are left out of the CFP. The SEC should threaten to drop out of the CFP all together. Let's see what that committee does then.
This is a start - "...the runner up should automatically be guaranteed a spot in the playoffs"
It still doesn't provide a great incentive however as most runner-ups would already have a playoff spot without the game, and they would end up playing an extra game against a physical SEC team while still having to play the first round. The exception would be a team like TAMU this year as they wouldn't make it otherwise.
