Former UGA assistant Fran Brown thanks Kirby Smart after Syracuse upsets Miami
In a weekend of college football chaos, Syracuse upset No. 6 Miami 42-38.

Not surprised Coach Smart wished him well and that Coach Brown acknowledged him post game. I know lots of Dawgs fans are happy for him at Syracuse and appreciate the assist taking down Miami. Go Dawgs!

Fran Brown is a class act, great to see him having success as a Head Coach!

That was a great game. Glad to see Fran having success. He was so fired up and pumped on the sidelines!!
Fran is a great man and coach. Wonderful that he gave a shoutout to Kirby, but even better was that he didn’t steal one of our top recruits last year and encouraged him to sign with the Dawgs. Also, pretty cool that he paid Kirby back by knocking off a team that was in front of us in the standings. Go Dawgs and good luck Fran!!!
I suspect Kirby gave him some scouting tips on Miami they may have picked on while watching the Tech-Miami film while preping for Tech, seems unlikely that if the message was just good luck today that Fran would have given Kirby a shout out duirng the post game on field interview.
