- 3/17/19 UPDATE -- We've updated the permissions for our "Football" and "Commit to the G" recruiting message boards. We aim to be the best free board out there and that has not changed. We do now ask that all of you good people register as a member of our forum in order to see the sugar that is falling from our skies, so to speak.

Resilient Dawgs Take Their Gritty Style of Play to the Playoff
It seems this Georgia Bulldogs team just has to do everything the hard way.

There are several so called experts that have already picked ND to beat UGA or picked UGA to lose to Oregon in the NC game
Certainly this one is very much up to your standards, Bill. I might add that the late game pass interference against us may have cost us a field goal, but since it prevented a touchdown proved to be the game winner. I believe that was a part Daylen's handiwork again. Glad he got official recognition for defensive player of the game.
I'm no expert but I pick the Dawgs to keep on keeping on and winning the third National Championship in four years.
@BillKing I honestly don't think Etienne was trying to throw shade at the Gators. I just think he was making a factual statement about why winning this game was so important to him. I don't think he was trying to say Florida was too sorry or inept to do it, just that he had never been in that situation previously and wanted to win because of that. As for Sarkisian, I thought it was funny because UGA fans ALWAYS complain that other teams never get called for holding, and now we have an opposing coach complaining that we weren't being called for it. The fact of the matter is that ALL teams — including Georgia — hold, on a regular basis. Some get called and some don't. I don't think there's any grand conspiracy by the referees or SEC officials either way.
Strength of schedule has been given strong consideration for the postseason rankings until this year. The first year that Texas joins the SEC and with a schedule so easy it's hard to believe it wasn't made that way on purpose.
At least these Dawgs were able to overcome that huge scheduling disadvantage and still come out on top. With the schedules being reversed next year, it will provide some great home game matchups for a change.
GO Dawgs!
As always, another great article Bill..GoDAWGS!
Bill—reading your articles is like putting on a silk shirt—very comfortable and easy to do! GO DAWGS
My old buddy Dan shares another interesting fact: Georgia beat the #1 and #2 ranked team in the polls this year. (Admittedly it was Texas both times, but Texas was ranked #1 in the first game and #2 in the second game.)
