M'Pemba and Bowles were both predictable exits. Didn't sniff the field in 2 years. Both will play wherever they end up. May even develop into Sunday players. They would not have stayed at UGA for 2 years if they weren't working hard to develop. Bowles may take what he has learned of the UGA process with him later when he works for his father as an assistant coach. Good luck to both.

Exciting TP news. Justice Haynes. TBD, does UGA want to step up for the required NIL?

Nooo! Next year would be his year to shine, why leave now?

he was never a 5 star…I feel like that gets tossed around too much nowadays! If that were the case everyone would be asking about him

it’s always surprising when I see a 5 star guy exit but it must come down to not developing like we need them to. I wish them well at the next stop. I was at the KY game this year and it was nice to see Vandagriff and some other Dawgs play, even if it was with the wrong jersey on.

What is going on with all of these defensive backs entering the portal ? And defensive group in general most of them are in their first or second year so they are not eligible for the NFL yet. Is it the NIL money ? Why are they unhappy at Georgia Homesick what. I don't understand why this is happening.

We recruit so well on defense that 4 and 5 stars that would start on other teams cannot crack the top 2 here. The only exception to this now is the DL where there just are not that many big guys available for all the teams that want them.

This was not surprising. Both MPemba and Bowles will start at 90 percent of the other FBS schools. They are both really good players. Wish them the best of luck.

Most disappointed in Jamaal. Had high hopes for him. If he had stuck around he might of turned into something but he was a long project that needs the full 5 years to become NFL caliber. I don't think he will get developed elsewhere so maybe he is just taking the NIL he can get now. He is a rotational starter on 50 percent of the FBS teams out there.

Also, bummed about Rhett but he wants a shot at the NFL and you can't do that if you are not a starter. DGD, thank you for your efforts dude.

Lastly, Pope. What can you say? Cheering for the other team is a scarlet letter. Good riddance.

Always hate to see a player with this much potential decide to leave just before he is likely to get his opportunity to do it for the dawgs. I wish he would stick around and develop wearing the red and black.

    Best of luck to him.
