What will be the excuse... Notre dame only lost because ____ and ___.

ND just played their first top ten ranked team last night. And the Hoosiers were exposed even further than Ohio St. had previously. Dawgs lost to Bama at Their place when the Dawgs were still Very young.

The loss to Ole Miss was a very bad loss. But Kiffin had seen enough of the Dawgs to be ready for them. And again the Dawgs were on the road. Look at NDs schedule and be honest, they haven’t really played anybody. IU was doomed the moment they hit the field and it showed. I just don’t see ND man handling the Dawgs like they did IU. I’m Believing in our Dawgs !!

I hope they put the Dawgs back as underdogs, they seem to play better when considered the underdog.

the refs and shorter turn around than the dawgs. That’s the first 2 I can hear.

Was just reading some other internet sites to get the feel of what people outside of Dawgs fan base think. And Kirby about as well call ND up and forfeit the game. I mean ND having destroyed the powerhouse that IU was along with all the other powerhouse schools the Irish have played our Dawgs don’t stand a chance. And if you believe that give me a call I have some high quality swamp land you might be interested in. 🙄 Yes it’s sarcasm. Go Dawgs !!

I'll give ND their due respect. They have good coaching and some weapons on both sides of the ball. But, the reality is they were not that dominant over an IU team that clearly does not belong in this CFP. And, they've had an embarrassingly easy pathway to the CFP.

I recall the last time ND were relevant. The media talked them up then, too. They actually believed all the BS. That Teo fella was supposed to be the bees knees of linebackers. Then Alabama brutally exposed them for the pretenders they were. It was men vs. boys. I'm confident Coach Smart will have the Dawgs ready to deliver another hiding.

Losing to NIU doesn’t make the ND coaching staff elite. And especially not with the schedule they played. They should have lost to usc.
    Go Dawgs! Beat nd!

lots of us still KNOW that the 2018 dawgs were a far better team than ND

the Notre Dame will be difficult with Beck out. This game will be Stockton’s first start in college football. Ever…

"Leonard showed why by displaying good mobility and an accurate passing touch against the Hoosiers’ defense"

He was clearly watching a different game from the one that I saw. And he also has a higher opinion of Leonard than Irish fans do, as Notre Dame fans regard him as the team's weak link

No need for any of that. ND is a good team that held Texas A&M to 13 points at Kyle Field. UGA is jusr better. A top 10 team versus a top 3 one.

All I said was the truth. IU WAS the first top ten team they played. TAMU. ( correct me if I’m wrong) wasn’t in the top 10 when ND played them.

The point I was trying to make is the Dawgs have played quite a few that were in the top ten at the time we played them. And quite a number of Internet sports sites are raving over ND for beating a vastly inferior IU team ( Ohio St. beat Em like a drum and exposed them in so doing) and sound like Dawgs about as well forfeit.

And it was ND fans chanting We Want Georgia BEFORE kickoff to IU !! You sound a little defensive that I’m vocally defending our Dawgs. Why ?? 98% of the time I agree with your posts. But it’s ND and their followers talking the smack.

Course we don’t need to bring up that the Dawgs are 3-0 vs them !! Lastly it’s a Very Valid point that they don’t have the Burden of making it to a Conference Championship and Might have to Win it to get good seeding, we don’t know on that part because it didn’t affect us This year. What if we had lost would the Committee have punished us ? If so how bad ? As it is ND gets to kick back and watch other teams beat each other up in Conference Championships. We lost our starting QB in ours.

So with all due respect to you, Yeah as a fan (fanatic) I’m talking smack right back at Em at least here on Dawgs site. I don’t go to rival sites at all less alone to talk smack. P.S. Just to be absolutely clear I’m not attacking you. I guess you’re trying to show good sportsmanship and that’s a Good thing. But do it After we beat them !! 🤣

I’m anxious to see the first injury report. 1) Unless he took a big step backwards in his rehab I’d think Etienne will be just fine He played really well vs TX to be dealing with injured ribs

    2) Wondering and Hoping Christian Miller is as close as possible to full health

    3) Wondering and Hoping Roderick Robinson is as close to possible to full health. He could be of Big help in the running game

    4) Same thing with Branson Robinson but last report it sounded like he was a bit behind R.Robinson in getting back healthy

I know I’m missing some others that Might be able to play. We’re missing one or two on our O line ain’t we ?

Wonder about Big Baby Hall how’s he doing ? Anybody else missing ( that can come back for the playoffs) from the Defensive Line ?

It’s just my humble opinion but even with Gunner coming in for his first ever start a Rested and Healthy Dawgs team will be Very formidable, especially if some of those names I dropped are available.

Our “ young “ guys at the start of the season are now young no more. Most of Em have been through thirteen games now, so they’re no longer crab apple green ( Yall thought I was gonna say Irish green lol 🤣) .

Gunner doesn’t have near the experience as Beck but he’s played some and he’s a very capable QB. One of the things that impressed me allot was when he came in the SECCG he didn’t have the deer in the headlights look that Allot of QBs would have had. He was cool, calm, and collected. Even the TV announcers made note of that saying he looks like he’s been there forever. So I’m believing he’ll do his job the very best of his capability.

We have allot of really good players. I get perturbed with our Coaches sometimes but look we’ve only lost two games and really only the Ole Miss loss was truly embarrassing, came mighty close to pulling the fat out of the fire vs Bama.

Win or Lose and I Much Prefer Win, the main thing I want to see from the whole team is Effort. I want our Dawgs to leave their maximum effort on the field and Hopefully that will result in a W with more to come. Give Em Hell You Hairy Dawgs !!
