Dang, driving a Lamborghini wasn't enough. 😛 Now that the money gods, like TV and betting business have taken ownership, it just won't be the same anymore.

Good Luck Carson. I'll be rooting for you!

Hmm. I think that's a mistake unless many NFL scouts told him to return. If he was likely to get a 2nd round placement then he should've taken that and worked his way upwards. His stock dropped, but all NFL agents will know it was because of the Georgia WRs. If he transfers and DOESN'T perform amazingly, he could drop down to a late round where he has to fight to even have a shot on a roster.

Guess the semi-pro league pays better than the pros right now.

Good Luck Carson. Going to Miami or another team with a more innovative OC will do your career good

Going the transfer route possibly explains what many of us perceived as a lack of chemistry for the Dawgs this past season. As we often put it, “Something ain’t right with this team.” The very obvious boost in energy in the second half of the SEC Championship was quite revealing. The team likes playing with and for the guy driving the 1985 Ford F-150 more than they did the guy driving the $270,000 Lamborghini. Understandable. I personally prefer a QB who plays because he loves the game, his school, and his teammates. I like Gunner. He’s a leader, a competitor, and a football player.

    Go Dawgs!

    very well said!

I don’t think you could be more “Georgia “ than Gunner. Culture is huge and he fits the bill.

Good luck to Carson, get paid while ya can

I think we'll be okay with Gunner. CB just looking for some receivers that can catch and tackles who can block. Problems we have to fix. GO DAWGS!

Maybe my take is different, but the NIL and transfer portal are killing college football. I love the Green Bay Packers, but I don't love them more than the Dawgs. But I'm beginning to ask myself, what's the difference? In both cases, it will be the best team money can buy. In both cases, I have no idea who the roster will be from year to year. I will always love the brand of the G, but it will never instill in me the passion of the young men who were willing to commit to it.

Maybe he wants to play those ACC defenses.

Probably the best thing for all involved. Beck would be a 1 year stopgap for UGA and GS would probably leave. Now becomes GS's time. He's happy for probably 2 seasons. That makes UGA a good destination for '26 5* QB Jared Curtis. CBeck gets to show his arm is recovered and grab another big CFB payday. There's a good chance he improves his draft stock playing another season of CFB.

Win-win-win all the way around. Which CBeck is UGA losing? '23 CBeck/Aaron Rogers? '24 CBeck, somewhat inaccurate and immobile? Or '25 CBeck, '24 CBeck with a dead arm?

'25 CBeck will likely put up good numbers in the right situation. GS numbers are unpredictable at this point. It will be exciting and interesting to watch both as it plays out later this year.

BTW , we've seen CBeck consistently play better than Drew Allar and Riley Leonard did last night.
