Georgia names new head athletic trainer as Ron Courson to transition to administrative role
Ron Courson, the longtime head athletic trainer for the Georgia football program, will be transitioning away from the role and into a new position as the University of Georgia’s Athletic Association’s Executive Associate Athletic Director for Athletic Health and Performance.

A sincere Congratulations to Ron Courson in his promotion. He is an Outstanding Athletic Medical Professional and a Great man as well. He has been and still is the Top of the class in athletic medical training. He will I’m sure continue to be a very valuable asset to UGA.
Couldn't of happened to a nicer man. Had the privilege to meet and talk to Mr. Courson. Congratulations! I know you will succeed just as you did as the Athletic trainer.

Why do we have to end with, “Georgia went 11-3 this past season, finishing the season with a loss to Notre Dame in the College Football Playoff.”
What does that have to do with the story?
A huge loss to the athletics department. Hope the next guy can do as well.
