Dawgs spring priorities spring game arrests

While this yearâs home slate starts off with a couple of ho-hum games in Marshall and Austin Peay and has another late-season cupcake in the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, in between the Dawgsâ opposition Between the Hedges will be the toughest in a long time, with Alabama, Texas and Ole Miss all visiting, along with Kentucky.

As far as the running back situation at Georgia we have Frazier who is getting better but he has to have a offensive line to open holes and make key blocks to be able to let him run. The Robinsons, they missed last year and they are missing this year, I'm sorry but this is cut throat football we can't keep waiting for them to MAYBE be able to play. Time to cut our losses with those two. Bo Walker looks promising just young and inexperienced . Sure wish the rest of us that can't make it to Athens for G-Day to watch them play, I kind of understand what Kirby is saying but it is disappointing to say the least. GO DAWGS
I'm still not clear why CKS isn't going to let the G Day game be televised. If he's worried about injuries, don't play it. If he's worried about showing too much to other teams, Go pure vanilla. Between NIL, transfer portal, player suspensions and now no coverage of G Day it's like they are trying to chase us away. I'm sure I'll still check for news every day but it's a bummer to see less and less good news.
Bill,
Your articles are my Sunday morning treat! At the risk of being impertinent, have you thought that the UGA sorority coed is perhaps now filling a long term NIL contract?
Bill, thanks for covering so much territory so well.
Go, Dawgs!
Excellent article Bill, as usual !! Two quick thoughts, the G Day game not being televised stinks, stank, stunk !! I’m hoping that at least part of the problem with Frazier on ball security was upper body strength, after all he was a freshman. I’m hoping and believing he will be much more powerful this year including upper body strength. STILL like All Dawgs fans I’d love to see one even two newcomers blast on to the scene !! Go Dawgs !!
P.S. Cash Jones and rotating Dillon Bell in will help us, And no law against running a TE along and along. Delp did a couple times last year.
Yet another GREAT article Bill! I look forward to reading your articles every Sunday. A true fans perspective in every sentence.
Yeah, I'm mad that the G Day game isn't being televised. It's one of those chances to see new players play, see how much progress has been made, backups play, etc. Smart's response is kinda cryptic but I think this quote from the Nebraska coach is probably the REAL reason:
"I think it's really, fundamentally — I hate to say it like this — it's really because last year we were one of the more televised spring games, and I dealt with a lot of people offering our players a lot of opportunities after that,"
