Sounds like a young man with a good head on his shoulders. No doubt he will be successful wherever he decides to play college football. Hopefully that will be for UGA..GoDAWGS!
Let’s think this through. Bowe led a public school in Texas to the state championship. Texas high public school football is about as good as high school football gets. He’s 6’3”, 205-210 pounds and runs a 4.5 to 4.6 40. He can run it and sling it. He can go through his progressions at an advanced level. He is not into the NIL crap. He wants to win championships. That’s what one can see from reading Jeff’s article.
While he is probably going to OK, my question is why would we prefer a kid from a private school in TN over this kid? I would prioritize this young man.
When you watch video of a lot of high school QB's they show a lot of completions to wide open receivers. He threw a ton of passes that threaded the needle and he looked like he had great speed. Could definitely see him as a duel QB like Stetson only with more size.
First, how in the wide wide world of sports is Bowe Bentley not a 10 star???? I'd sign him over Curtis in a heartbeat but I'd also look at his receivers…..better have some 5 plus star "hands & legs" to snag all those slingin bullets…..a National Lacrosse player that works out with his O-Line….Bowe will never have to be concerned about NIL/ NFL.
Very impressive young man. Love his attitude and his abilities. I have one question—this young man genuinely seems to have an interest in our program—why have we never heard of him?
