His story has just been a disaster. He left a place where he was successful to come to a place he had to know there was no way he would usurp the starter and then would be behind a kid entrenched in the program.
Now he is at Sacramento State.

Nothing against them but dang, what a slide.

I'll bet that if he gets to start…..1/11 team last year so I'm thinking he's a shoe in…..he'll pack in the stats against the 7 weak sisters in the Big Sky and maybe show against Montana St, UC Davis, and Idaho then hit the portal again racking up frequent flyer miles….Sadly, this is now college football and the un-regulated cancer of TP & NIL……After all, we all just saw a QB who started at The Incarnate Word in San Antonio become the #1 draft pick…..I suppose the term "student athlete" is soon to be relegated to the basement of archaic western language.

Let’s track this. Commits to Florida. Never sets foot on campus as a student. Transfers to ASU. Has minimal success. Transfers to UGA. Never plays. So, he goes SEC to PAC 10 or 12 or whatever it was called that year. Then back to the SEC. Now at Sacramento State which apparently has a football team. Who knew? I didn’t and I follow college football fairly closely.
Bottom line: this has been a complete disaster. I’m almost feeling sorry for the kid.

Bad advisors… I hope other kids see and learn from this. I don’t care how good you are in high school, you come in demanding the moon and the stars, you get the door instead.

Cautionary tale about staying where you are. He could have challenged for the ASU starting job. Why he came to UGA is a mystery to me. At least he can concentrate on football now and not crowd noise.

Nothing wrong with being confident, but the arrogance will come back and get ya.

Hmmm, would that be a bad advisor out in Boulder too?? Only difference is HS to College vs College to the NFL

Almost feel sorry for these guys to have their futures controlled by advisors, parents, etc that don't understand how the business world operates.
