ESPN expert: Georgia to have best O-Line in SEC in 2025

Cantwell explained his confidence in his ability to develop into an offensive lineman and compete for titles with the Hurricanes, but Georgia might be on the verge of building another âGreat Wallâ filled with potential first-round picks, according to one expert.

Wouldn't that be nice. The proof will be in the pudding as they say. The Joe Moore Award has eluded the Dawgs time and again. First, we have to keep the injuries down to a bare minimum which is tough to do for any O-line. If we can do that at least, Searles has a chance to prove his worth. Stockton, Frazier, and the rest of the offensive performance depends on these guys.
a lot of “ifs and buts” on this line. Pedigree is there. I need to see it though. Maybe with a return to the run/PA game it will help simplify things for Bobo and the OL.
How can you call it the best OL in the SEC when Freeling is coming off an injury, Greene is playing out of position and only one Guard spot is locked down? 3* Drew Bobo at Center? Ugh! 😩 There’s way too many questions around this OL right now. Could it be good? Sure, but at this time we just don’t have enough information.
On paper perhaps but we just sent 3 OL to the league and we couldn’t run a lick with those guys.
I hope he is right because he must be seeing something other than what I saw last year. That Notre Dame defense ate Monroe Freeling alive in the playoff game.
OMG….I actually agree with him for like the first time ever….Stunning
Exactly !! Good comments !! Even in a “ simple” format if your players are Dominate at doing simple then there can be success.
Sometimes I think coaches and fans tend to over complicate the game. If our big O Line guy can over power the rival big D line guy we can win. I don’t know but it’s possible that that was part of last year’s problem ? Execute fundamentals at a high level can lead to winning I believe.
We have the horses/athletes, do they have the coaching, we've discussed this ad nauseum….
Because Cubelic is an expert. He is the president of the Moore award, he was an OL in the SEC. He studies Offensive lines, specifically on the SEC, more than anyone I know. He knows EVERY teams roster upside down and backwards.
Will it be the best? Nobody on this Earth knows.
But you know what? Cubelic has enough info and has studied more than you or me and everyone, except UGA coaches.
Just for him to say that about the potential of UGA's OL tells me, that it definitely is not going to ****. And while it might not be the best, but contrary to your opinion, that it will be good. Cole knows OL
I actually heard a sports analyst(can't remember who) like a week ago talking about how great a center Bobo is, not will be, but is.
he didn’t look terrible in relief of Jared Wilson last year. Not like you’d expect anyway. Drew Bobo is the least of my concerns on the OL.
Just my opinion but I thought Drew Bobo did a very capable job and if he stays healthy should only go upward in progress.
I thought he held his own just fine. But to be spoken of so highly, I was like ,OK …
That's what they said the last five years. I'll believe it when I see it. Where are all the Moore Trophies?
we Molly whopped the Joe Moore award winner in the 2021 orange bowl. So how much is that award worth?
