Welcome home Toodle! You'll love your time in Athens!!

@JeffSentell I tried posting this on another article but it was eaten by the server. I got 2 questions about general recruiting.

    1. Has the SEC lost ground in recruiting this year? Looking at the team composites a lot of SEC teams aren't doing great based on the 247 team rankings. Is that normal for this time of year or is that a sign of change?
    2. Will there be any change to the transfer portal? The portal has significantly diminished my care about recruiting and also the sport as a whole. Its hard to invest much time in who's who on the roster when they jump ship 3xs in 4-5 years. I know this has become a lot bigger issue than NIL for most of us fans. Its great to get paid but showing loyalty and passion to the school is a much bigger deal for me. It is at the core of the tradition and pagentry that has made college football what it is today, imo.

“If you want to be the best, why not play with the best?”……and coming from my favorite city in Alabama, Mobile…birthplace of the Greatest Football Coach in Georgia history, Vince Dooley….(KS history is yet to be finished) and Mitch #58 Davis, the 5th best LB in Georgia history…..Mr Toodle, the standard is very high but you've come to the home of the BEST…..I know you will make Athens and Mobile proud! Best wishes on your journey becoming a DGD!

Long way to signing day. Flip season is in full swing. Lots of time to change minds and get better $$$ deals, such is the landscape of semi-pro college football. But any time flip and Auburn commit are used in the same sentence…heck yes! Go dawgs…

Exactly just how much does the young man weigh? He’s said to be 6’3” 225 lbs in one sentence and 6’3” 210 lbs in another. 🤷‍♂️

I love it, I would rather have another very good LB than a smallish WR. Addition by subtraction.
