    To bolster your article, you should include how Kirby's defenses have performed every year. Some metric like Team defense, yards allowed. The reason I bring this up is Jalen Carter, Jordan Davis, and Walker. When they were there, they affected everything, and the dawgs had a generational defense. But, I bet if you look before that, UGA's defense under kirby is more like today.

    The 2017 D was pretty good, had a lot of Richt holdovers, but they were very good players. I believe that the 2025 D is going to try to claw it's way back to being more dominant. Maybe not as much as 21 and 22, but better than 23 and 24.

  • John Atkins and Roquan did most of the heavy lifting that year. Secondary outside of Baker was just ok.
