Well. Is he a 5 star or a 4 star? The article says both.

TX money or Day 1 starting LB at Clemson probably trumps working his way up the ranks at UGA.

Hey BA, if you read the comments, time to retire the "gator hater updater". When FU was the more dominant program it was probably nice to keep track. Now that FU is a distant dot in UGA's rear view mirror it is time to make FU the after thought that they are. FU and GT are just not relevant in UGA's world.

You have to be trolling. There is no other explanation. Last year's games should be enough for anyone to understand that GT and UF will always be a focus and are as relevant as they always have been.

i haven’t seen Texas money win any of these recruitments yet this cycle. Not saying it won’t win here with Tyler, but seems either they aren’t spending the money or kids are saying no for the 26 cycle.

completely. Let either school win a game and watch what happens. As someone who came of age watching Spurrier ruin Halloween weekend for 12 years (with one exception) and then Urban Liar do it simailarly…the gator hater updater is needed to remind folks of what could be. I’m sure the current college kids at UGA will feel that hatred toward Bama, but for me it will always be fu. Nothing would make me happier than them becoming the next Vandy of the SEC.

Love for Tyler to commit to the G….bottom line is between his final 4, the Dawgs offer him the best chance at development, opportunity, and national exposure to become a first rounder…..the other three would be for the "AtKnUp" Tyler.

Based on your comment I have to assume that you think UGA '24 is the new normal, standard for UGA football? Okay, GT had a good game against a bad UGA team. '24 UGA D: total defense 30th, Rushing D 37th and Passing Yards Allowed 12th in the SEC. UGA D gave up 42 pts to GT! CKS may have hired some great recruiters on defense but the UGA assistant coaches on D aren't getting the job done. Needless to say Schumann is no Lanning and TRob and ? are no Fran Brown. But w/UGA's D talent I don't expect to see GT put up 42 pts on UGA any time soon.

UGA is 20-3 in the series since '96. You may not like GT but any extra thoughts regarding them is unwarranted. They are irrelevant. They are in an inferior league. They don't recruit the same players. They don't challenge for or win championships.

@Kasey Maybe TX is waiting until the 11th hr to spread the oil money around like they did last year with Justus Terry? A pretty smart strategy when you think about it. Be the last voice waving a raise at an impulsive decision deadline. Make no mistake son, they have the money and will be spending it. They spent on their #1 recruiting class in '25 and in the TP.

As for FU, I can see why they would live in your head for free. FU was 13-1 over a 14 yr period beginning in '90. In the last 8 games UGA is 7-1. We should be living in their heads for free.

These 2 examples show that those 2 teams are not in UGA's league. "Gator Hater Updater" shows a level of pre-occupation and concern that the current FU program and its current coach do not warrant. You want to rub it in daily that UGA owns FU? I would hope that the UGA program and CKS would show a little more class than that. That is the kind of thing I would expect from somebody like Spurrier.

FU and GT are just another W that you can chalk up when you look at the schedule now. If you can't wholesale changes need to be made to the UGA coaching staff.

maybe that’s true about Texas. Could be they are a little spooked by this House settlement and don’t want to just dump $ on everyone Willy nilly. Guess time will tell.

You have to understand re Florida…Brandon Adams absolutely wants to be like Spurrier and rub it in their face. As long as Kirby doesn’t that’s what really counts. When we’ve outclassed fu in 2017, 2021, and 2023 Kirby has never run up the score the way the OL ball sack did and I’m sure that’s by design.

But both fu and GT are rivalry games and they will be played tough. Last year Tech gave us all we could handle. They are not to be taken lightly with Key at the helm. Florida has probably their best squad since 2020. They played us tough last year (although those dumb picks by Carson helped the issue) and they have a whole team of guys who will want to beat us since they don’t know what that feels like.

Yes we have had a strong run against both, but all it takes is one win to start some momentum and gnashing of teeth.

Not yet up on all the nuances of the green (NIL) new deal. Rumored to be a governor intended to level the playing field of college sports. But already suspected of being circumvented by teams not particularly interested in following the rules.

Some teams seem to be "front loading" deals ahead of the enforcement of the new rules as an inducement to gain a commitment.

Whatever the new rules are hopefully they are implemented quickly and enforced.

Considering the talent differential between UGA and GT, GT should not be on the same field as UGA. UGA came into last season's game unmotivated and unprepared. That is on coaching and a concerning trend. FU is a sleeping giant only awaiting a high profile coach to unlock the state of Florida recruiting gold mine. But that ain't Billy Napier. FU has a 2 year window with a 5* QB to make the program contenders. IF FU does not capitalize on this 5* QB it may be a while until they get another.

I do not know Brandon Adams but I tend to believe, while he enjoys tweaking FU, that he takes his condemnation of FU further to enflame and placate the more extreme UGA fans. CKS sets the tone of how UGA fans should deal with rivals, success and failure. The perception of the UGA program and sports, in general, would be better for it.
