Hey folks - as a member of the DawgNation community, please remember to abide by simple rules of civil engagement with other members:
- Please no inappropriate usernames (remember that there may be youngsters in the room)
- Personal attacks on other community members are unacceptable, practice the good manners your mama taught you when engaging with fellow Dawg fans
- Use common sense and respect personal differences in the community: sexual and other inappropriate language or imagery, political rants and belittling the opinions of others will get your posts deleted and result in warnings and/ or banning from the forum
- 3/17/19 UPDATE -- We've updated the permissions for our "Football" and "Commit to the G" recruiting message boards. We aim to be the best free board out there and that has not changed. We do now ask that all of you good people register as a member of our forum in order to see the sugar that is falling from our skies, so to speak.

I don’t doubt Sarkesian is a good, maybe great coach. However, in terms of a coaching staff, Kirby and his staff are not going to be out worked in terms of player development. Kirby just will not allow that! Factor that into the equation and I still like our chances! A lot! Go Dawgs!
I THINK EVERYONE OUT HERE IS IN AGREEMENT THAT WE HAVE A LOT OF TALENT IN A LOT OF PLACES. NOW COMES THE DECIDING FACTOR IN OUR SUCCESS—MOTIVATION.
Sorry about the Caps Lock
I've said it before, and I'll say it again -Injuries will ultimately be the BIGGEST factor in determining how the Dawgs finish this season. Talent and coaching aren't really the issue. Injuries derailed last season even though we fought through them and finished a bit better than I thought.
What's the blue chip ratio for the offensive line and wide receivers? Might want to take a look at that. Can't remember a five star O lineman in the last three cycles. Fun Fact, Texas had a bunch of three star O Lineman recruited three years ago, and they couldn't block us.
"MOTIVATION" (sorry couldn't resist the all caps), is a tricky word. More so than motivation i would say "development". BUT development is enhanced when players are motivated.
My point is that the development of UGA players has not met expectations the last 2 years. UGA has one.of the highest blue chip ratios yet 51st rated D and 23rd rated O in '24. Did Beck develop from '23? Raylen Wilson? CJ Allen? Monroe Freeling? ETN? DBell? I could go on and on. That blue chip ratio and not 1 preseason 1st team All SEC player in '25?
Are UGA players playing cautious to save themselves for the NFL? (MStarks, ODelp) Or are the UGA coaches recruiters and not developers? There is a disconnect in Athens and '25 is a pivotal year.
BTW, not reported on Dawgnation. RB DCooper committed to TX yesterday.
