"SBIV had the most talent around him (O and D) than any other QB in UGA history."______ @UGADad20

That's true. There's no denying that. However....he also won 15 games in a season, without a hicup....blowing out LSU for the SECC & TCU in record fashion, to take the Natty. And...it weren't all-defense that did it, either.

Bennett operated that offense expertly, and did it, playing against some stiff defenses...all year long. He used what he was given, within Monkin's System....to do something "very few" CFB Quarterbacks have EVER done.....WIN 15 Games in a Season!

To me...THAT makes Bennett the GOAT. Same as Saban's "record", currently makes him the GOAT in Coaching [also, hottly debated].

Lol...I'm just sayin'....I've never seen a fanbase pick a "Losing Quarterback" apart like they have Bennett. And, I can't figure out, why. Why does it matter what his stats were?

I'm sure he could've racked up more stats, if they had let him throw the ball all 4 quarters....like all the other highly-hyped QB's. I'll bet Sean McVey had a personal party, when he saw Bennett sliding down the draft board, right into his lap. Some HC's "know"....most don't....imo.

Stet is a cool customer. He may screw up, but he is never rattled.
