How does a player get out of his NIL deal if he wants to transfer? Anyone know?

Easy fix, contract with a buyout. Player signs for say 3years and gets NIL and decides to leave then he or the school tampering would be required to pay the buyout. Also have just “1” TFP a year.

Why have the transfer portal when the fervor of college football is at its highest? How about after the playoffs and national championship game are completed—say something like Jan. 15 to Jan 31?
