“Yeah, I want to first thank our fans for being able to adjust on the fly like we had to do today, but especially thank you for the fans that stuck around after the rain delay. I thought there was a lot of energy for the stadium, you know, not being full after the rain delay. But the energy in the stands was awesome.

CKS has done nothing but make excuses for Gunner, blaming everyone but Gunner, he has not called out Searles for his poor coaching job, and he looks past the biggest elephant in the room by ignoring the poor job Bobo is doing both from a coaching point of view as well as a playcalling point of view. Sticking with Gunner will result in an 8-4 record, if we are lucky. Would be better to get Pugs more experience in preparation for next years season. Puglisi only getting a few plays per game is ridiculous. Coaching sucks, overall. Likely losses: UTenn, UTexas, UAlabama, Ole Miss, UF, UK, and GT.

just because they lost today don’t mean they won’t beat us in Jacksonville. Look at bama running us off the field last year then losing to Vandy. Each week is different

maybe this team can come together. I think the defense is picking up if the DBs can stop those long passes for big gains. The OL needs to improve. Yeah it may be a long season but Go Dawgs and Kirby should get another raise.🤦

I think it’s fair to say that there’s a good possibility that we forfeited 6 points we could have had. That being off the leg of our not so secret weapon Woodring. KS and Bobo weren’t interested in FGs for this training game. But vs an SEC opponent we would have more than apt kicked the ball on a couple of those stalled drives.
Woodring is a huge plus for us to have and might be the difference maker in some games this year.

Also I will always wonder if a Fully healthy R. Robinson could have punched it in down on the goal line when the O stalled, in spite of the lack of push from the O Line. When he’s fully healthy which unfortunately for him and the team R. Robinson is a beast and usually gets those “ gotta have it” short ydg. plays.
Like most Dawgs fans I was disappointed with today’s showing. But I’m far from being ready to give up the ship !! CFB is a strange thing one game your up the next your down.

The most important stat of all though is that W. People tend to forgive and/or forget stats but they Don’t forget the W or L as the case may be. So for our Dawgs just Win. Long as you Win everyone in DawgNation will love you and outings like today will be only a bad memory. Go Dawgs !!

I could be wrong but I think the mud lizards were the only SEC team to lose today. No matter how bad things are that’s like giving a Dawg a good bone !! 😂

maybe but they have not impressed this season. Lagway seems to have regressed. Their vaunted OL gave up 11 TFL to LIU last week. They were a mess today.

I understand the transitive property in football doesn’t exist, but we should not lose to this Gator team. Especially with all these tough games they have before they get to us.

Agree. And all though like most I was very disappointed with our Dawgs Offense and early on expressed that out of emotion on here. It’s probably better to wait and see how this trip to Knoxville turns out before making bold proclamations either way.

yeah that’s where I’m at. Disappointed but waiting until I see them in a real fight.

It is, without question, a head coach's job to defend and uplift his team, even (especially?) during mediocre or worse performance. However, a few of these CKS comments come across as outright denial.

He, of course, sees more than any of us on DN, but we can't all be completely blind at once. I guess he's hanging on to that old adage, "dance with the one that brung ya"... at least in a couple of roles (esp. coaches).

Guess we'll (hopefully) see the things he does, but we're missing, later this season...

LOL, Kirby is the man, you are not. He knows EVERYTHING. And so much that you do not about each player, this team and the coaches an its infinite. He has his reasons for not stating things publicly, specifically the things you mentioned. That is why he is a great coach. Personally, I think you should go find another team to whine about the things you do not understand because you appear clueless on most everything you mentioned.

Look, let's wait and reserve judgement until after the TN game and we really get to see what kind of team we have. Defense is looking very good even against inferior opponents. I figured before the season the D would need to carry the load while the offensive line and all of these new receivers got comfortable. Not to mention, we have not seen anything much offensively that we will be from certain players and scheme and plays that we will be seeing from here on out. Like Noah Thomas for sure.

The TN game will be the measuring stick, not a significantly weather delayed playing it very close to the vest 1st 2 games offensively. TN will be totally different. Let's just hope when the offense is unleashed, all of these new and young guys are ready for going on the road and winning in the SEC. Going to be a very, very good barometer. Go Dawgs!

I'm sure we didn't show much on offense or defense but our line play looked shoddy. Again! Receivers didn't get open downfield much and when they did Gunner didn't see them.I hope it's just playing down to the competition. We'll see next week but we have to play better. Go Dawgs!
