No team is perfect and we Dawg fans have a high bar set now that Kirby has taken us to the mountaintop. That said, there isn't a team out there without flaws. UGA has their fair share and the players will have to grow up fast. ND is 0-2. Clemson is on oxygen. Arch is being booed at home (which is awful). Miami seems formidable and we'll see. Bama already stumbled. I'm not worried about Penn State. They've played no one and always yak in a big game. At least the Dawgs have been battle tested. That counts for something. Glad we have Bama at home. I expect a much better effort from the D in that game. Glad we have 2 weeks to heal and compose. College football season is a glorious time isn't it?

"Speaking of Texas...Bet you're glad the Dawgs didn't sign Manning, now huh. Lol. The obvious distraction is exactly what i was worriedabout happening at UGA. Great kid...but, the pressure from all sides is crushing him and damaging his psyche....imo."…..BigDawg, I'm thinking that had Arch become a Dawg, he'd faced competition like he'd never faced in order to "win" the starting position…..Not doing that…..Arch is an heir and was satisfied to sit two years behind Ewers…..not much development took place other than learn the play book…..Arch is still a 5 star HS QB….playing in the strongest conference in America….and its on display every week…..there was never a chance he'd come to UGA for the simple reason…..he embraces the "Heir Apparent" mentality and expects not to earn anything.

Honestly, I thought Georgia would lose by three points, which almost happened. Having said that, there's a lot to like about Saturday's game. Gunner showed his stuff and grew up a lot. The O line was able to run the ball on an SEC defense when they needed two. Our Wide receivers are really good - soon they may realize they are scary good. Bobo managed 500 yards of Offense. Blocking downfield was very good at times. Ga has some great tailbacks. There were some real areas of concern, but at this point, I think Kirby is dialed in on it more than all of us. Not that he wasn't - though I wasn't sure with the play of our O lIne. Happy for the win.

If Arch had signed here, he would have gotten coached up, much like Lagaway. Two very talented qb's who appear to be getting very little coaching.

You may be right. If he needed more development...[and he did and does].…He should've come to Athens.…or, played for a Lane Kiffin type.

But, of course...maybe that was the issue. The Mannings trusted the wrong guy, with Arch's development. Kirby is on the cutting edge of the NFL Game and what they want & need. See Philly. Lol

As it is....looks like he may wind up going through the same growing pains that Fields and Young....and, others went through....before he's successful. If he doesn't get injured first....God forbid.
