I've had my laptop open all game … they've gone with Calhoun (#70) before going back to Uini, who is the one I've noticed as struggling the most. At least at RT. Maybe his future is inside at G as he is huge. Glover, Bobo, Hughley holding up well. Micah nicked up and Freeling in the locker room (with Hall from the DL). Let the pups off the leash!
Gunner playing behind a patched together OL doesn’t help. But can’t really whine about injuries. All teams have Em.
Everybody is in that boat...across CFB. Why would you throw in the towel on Kieby's bunch. Don't make good sense, to me...but, God Bless. Lol....I wouldn't bet against em.
IMO...We haven't seen their best, yet. That's still to come. In the 2nd half of the season.
@MY Dawg Ryan..He's good no doubt, but he seemed like a better QB to me last year. But the media is guilty of placing a lot of ridiculous pre season expectations for him to try and live up to and add even more pressure to it. But he is definitely a really good QB.
I don’t know what KS needs to do to shore up this Defense but he needs to do it Quickly !!
They need a mash unit on the Georgia sidelines with all the injuries in that 1st half.
Fyi....Booger Mac just said the same thing about Beck...we've been saying...."Let's see if Carson can make a play, when Miami needs one...in a hostile environment.".....The Booger
🤣 Wow !! But unfortunately very true !!
This game should not be this close. Glenn S. gonna get his ear chewed off. That plus KY gets ball second half! Their QB strikes a 28 yd TD…UGA…18 yds longest I think. UGA run game is good….thanks to Gunner. He is gifted on his feet…gotta work on his passing game…beyond check downs. He cannot seem to read the defense?
Yep. And in his first year vs KY the Dawgs won 14-13. But one poster not on here right now says “ Beck had Obvious better command of the O than Gunner”. Apparently the obvious command was a little leaky that day.
The secondary was giving Kentucky a big cushion. Daring them to throw....for a reason, I believe....
As in....the second half....press and intercept. That's what I see happening in late 3rd quarter...if not sooner.
No real need, right now, though. They still have to play Auburn and Ole Miss...so...lay back and WIN!
And, wait...Like the sea snake that lies on the bottom and allows the smaller fish to nibble...while lying in wait for the meal. Lol...just saw Gladiator again.
I would ask that Dawgs fans please remember Gunner was taken as a dual threat QB. So Bobo needs to be more innovative at Using what Gunner is best at. His feet !!
Gotta get him confident in that long ball....sooner or later. I'd prefer they do it before they get in a track meet with Ole Miss.
Gunner was very effective passing and running in the 1st qtr. Not so much in the 2nd qtr.
That's a turnover!
