AP Poll Top 25 for Week 7: Georgia football to take top 10 ranking to Auburn

The Bulldogs moved up from No. 12 to No. 10. Georgia took care of business against Kentucky on Saturday, jumping out to an early lead before scoring two second-half touchdowns to go up 35-7.

Wow! The AP poll actually did to texas and penn st what they deserved to get, completely left out of the top 25.
The Dawgs will grow up and get better. Auburn at night will be tough, and of course Ole Miss will be very good. Win THESE two, and they are back where they need to be.
@David1….yeah, kinda surprised but not really…just remember, Penn State took Oregon to the wire just last week as the Ducks won @ PSU in OT.
Connor, isn't that usually how teams move up... A combination of teams ahead of you losing and you winning? Good grief!
Don't forget to included Texas…. Texas will be very hard to beat with those long passes Manning throws. Our DBs are still mistake-prone. Every mistake can result in a touchdown by the opponent.
The AP poll is just a beauty contest judged by writers. The Coaches poll is much more cogent. I also like the Massey poll which is very quantitative and accurate.
Georgia had a bell-ringing win over Kentucky Saturday, with offensive utility man Dillon Bell answering the call in a big way. Gunner Stockton had a big game, too. This early in the season if our Dawgs can just hang out In the top ten things should be OK Then hopefully move up significantly in the last 3-4 games. For now just keep fighting and winning. Go Dawgs !!
missed their game against Florida yesterday did you?
SURELY…Beachwagon, was being facetious????
