There’s some hope in these youngsters. Griffin, Hughley, J. Williams, E. Williams, Bowens and some others seem to be developing on the fly. And Gunner really does seem to be a great leader.

But overall we just seem so thin in talent in so many places and so inconsistent where we do have talent (in all but a couple of positions) that I’m pretty pessimistic. Looks like a down year in the SEC — probably our only hope for sliding into the playoffs.

@MikeGriffith Quoting you: “You can't win them all.” Amen Mike !! Amen !! Kirby and the program should Always, Always set winning the National Title as the highest priority Every year, Making the Playoff’s second, Winning the SECCG third ( third because you can lose the SECCG and Still make the playoff’s). And last and at a bare minimum making a Reputable Bowl game.

He and the Dawgs should Always shoot for these things and put in every effort to bring them to fruition. BUT the Reality is sometimes for various reasons it just ain’t gonna happen.

Winning a National Title especially B2B National Titles sets the bar really high as it Should. But Reality still comes into the picture. IF and I say IF this season doesn’t pan out to well as long as KS retains Most of these young players And the majority of recruits now committed follow through and sign the Dawgs will be a powerful force next year. As for Me I don’t know what’s gonna happen but I believe the Dawgs will well This year. Go Dawgs !!
