As Chauncey Bowens ascends, the Georgia running back wonât let Nate Frazier get left behind

Comments
Watch the x video above. Big #73 gets a double block, first at the line then the second level. Dude is pretty awesome.
Nate is an important piece of the RB room…I loved seeing the guy come back against KY and hug that football like it was a pot of gold! Sure, he's fumbled on occasion, but he's an asset to the team, and I just hope he keeps hugging that football!
Frazier spends too much time dancing around instead of hitting the holes. I will never understand why Bobo goes away from the run game when it is working
Watched Nate hug the ball with both arms vs KY, while hitting the secondary…I laughed out loud….the dude is learning! Nate is good but Chauncey is better, at least right now.
This is not a bad thing for Nate, maybe sharing the limelight will help him stay grounded. If both players get comfortable splitting the payload it may keep both injury free and fresh. Especially, if Georgia goes deep into the playoffs.
Awesome to see the genuine brotherhood in this group, the Georgia standard - T E A M
Confess that I thought Frazier was our best RB coming into 2025 but he's not , Bowens is
Love your comment !! Truth !! Each RB has a different style or technique. I’m No football expert and have never professed to be. But if I were Bobo I’d run the ball using different RBs with Gunner sprinkling in short to intermediate passes and a couple of deep shots to keep the rival defense honest. Even if the deep shot misses ( as long as it’s a safe throw) you might draw a PI from the rival defense and they will have to respect the risk.
Rotate the RBs using speed, (Phillips) bashing (Bowens, McCray) Cuts (Frazier) passes to the backfield ( Cash Jones) and I wouldn’t be afraid to use Walker either that kid has Huge potential. And of course Stockton himself who is averaging 5.0 per carry !! I’d primarily run the ball till the rival defense showed they can stop it !! And Not just up the middle !!
The team is very fortunate to have the four rb's! I think it cool that coaching (at times,) have used all of them. UT seemed unable to stop the run. Just need a D pass rush on the 'otherside' of the ball. Help your DB's out lol!!
Great comments !! Fumbles especially getting close to getting a TD, I’m sure devastate a RBs mentality. I’m sure he feels he failed his Brothers, the Coaches, and the Fans. But Nate Frazier is FAR from done. That fumble only causes him to work even harder to be better and he was already by all accounts including KS a very hard worker.
He ran with a vengeance vs KY. He wants to redeem himself in the eyes of All those aforementioned people. And he Will !!
We have a dawg gone Crew of Great and potential to be Great RBs !! And they vary in style and technique !! This Crew can and if used properly Will give opposing Defenses nightmares !! I sure Hope Bobo will use them in a variety of ways !! Among our RBs we have blazing speed, brutal strength and power, and finesse !! We have good hands to catch the ball out of the backfield.
I’m No Coach, no expert, no guru, just a fan. But I’d Run the ball using those variety of ways until the rival defense proved they can stop it !! That includes designed runs from Gunner. Let him sprinkle in short to intermediate passes with a few Deep passes to keep the opposing defense wary and from crowding the LOS.
Be as sure as possible not to throw an INT in those deep passes, but Even if it’s a miss maybe he can draw a PI on the rival defense. I’d throw it on 1st down if possible so If it is a miss and no PI is called you can Still pickup the 1st down using other ways like Running the ball !!
We have a Force with our RBs, use them wicked Dawgs to put the bite on our rival !! Go Dawgs !!
Any ideas on why Phillips has not been used the past 2 games. He looked good on many runs the 1st few games. His speed is another level.
i think he’s a little dinged up
Hopefully he’ll be back for this Auburn game. Sure could use him !! I’m sure not an expert or a coach but put both him and Branch in the backfield using Branch as a decoy Or throw the ball to Branch. Branch is to valuable to risk using him as a pure RB imho.
