Hey folks - as a member of the DawgNation community, please remember to abide by simple rules of civil engagement with other members:
- Please no inappropriate usernames (remember that there may be youngsters in the room)
- Personal attacks on other community members are unacceptable, practice the good manners your mama taught you when engaging with fellow Dawg fans
- Use common sense and respect personal differences in the community: sexual and other inappropriate language or imagery, political rants and belittling the opinions of others will get your posts deleted and result in warnings and/ or banning from the forum
- 3/17/19 UPDATE -- We've updated the permissions for our "Football" and "Commit to the G" recruiting message boards. We aim to be the best free board out there and that has not changed. We do now ask that all of you good people register as a member of our forum in order to see the sugar that is falling from our skies, so to speak.

Georgia taking note of strides made by cornerbacks Ellis Robinson, Demello Jones

Ellis Robinson has started the last three games for the Bulldogs. He was pulled during the Tennessee game and had a pretty rough showing against Alabama.

Constantly being in a trail position and not able to locate the ball on deep balls has long been a problem for UGA DB's, hope that's not the case Saturday.
I like what Kirby says here…
“If you wanna cover somebody, you’ve gotta put your hands on them,” Smart said. “You’ve gotta affect the timing of a route. If you’re going to be up on somebody, there’s not a lot of purpose of being there if you aren’t using your hands.”
But, it's got to be implemented! So far, it hasn't been, at least not across the board.
To be fair, I and many others were once highly critical of Daylen Everette. He's developed into a very fine cornerback.
It's a process. It takes time. We have a very young team. We need them to be significantly "less young" very soon.
Go, Dawgs!
@flipside - Absolutely! Our DB always seem to be chasing rather than covering. Also, as you point out, they’re not playing the ball. Go get it. Make a play on the ball. The ball is what the game is played with. Look for the ball. Please!
