As is usually the case, a lot of the analysis around the game centers on the quarterback position. The Bulldogs will roll with Gunner Stockton, while Auburn is sticking with Jackson Arnold.

the dawgs should win if no dumb play calls. Georgia should be 5-0 at this point.

UGA should squeeze out the victory in the 4th qtr. Close…but the Dawgs have the staying power and talent.
We don't have a great history vs running QB's and Arnold has great wheels, game comes down to the wire. I like Woodring in the clutch.
Coach Smart is always complimentary. In almost ten years of following what he's said, the most potentially billboard material he's ever given another team has been after the fact and that's been "hbtfd, that's what I told 'em."
Back in 2017, Malzahn ran his mouth, saying "We whipped the dog crap out of them," after his Tigers rolled over the Dawgs in Athens. That's the last time that team has been relevant against UGA, as the DAWGS handled the Barners handily in the SECCG that year.
My hope is that those OTHER guys from that state just to our left, who tend to have an affinity for toilet paper, won't be much of a blip on this year's radar…
Though what you said Is true. Kirby knows it well and has been working the defense hard to try to improve in that area. Maybe having Gunner will also help verses another running QB that’s a rival.
Speaking of running I hope Bobo will run the ball rotating our RBs in and out, using speed (Phillips) brute strength and power ( Bowens & McCray) finesse and good strength ( Frazier) and I wouldn’t be afraid to play Walker, kid has good stuff of his own. And don’t forget throwing the ball to Cash Jones in the backfield.
Let Gunner sprinkle in some short to intermediate passes with an occasional deep shot to keep the Warped Eagles defense honest. I’d run the ball ( and Not just up the middle between the tackles) until Auburn shows they can stop it. A few designed runs by Gunner also.
I’m no expert or coach but when you take a good look at our RB room, TE room, WR room, and I trust Gunner he’s only had 1 INT through 5 games, Dawgs do have a very potent Offense. If Bobo is diverse in what he throws at the rival defense it’s gonna be hard for them to defend all that !! Go Dawgs !! Oh and totally Agree with you having Woodring gives some added security !!
I think Gunner will probably BE the difference in this game. GO DAWGS
