I'm not sold on A&M being elite, but their win against ND was a solid win. Yes ND has 2 losses, but they are a very solid team, that always get a free hall pass from the media regarding their ranking. Not sure A&M can win a championship given how inconsistent their QB can be (yes he can be amazing but can look just as pedestrian on simple plays) plays at times, but Bama's inability to run the ball or consistently stop the run is going to bite them at some point.

If the DAWGS can hold on and take a desperate Florida team and a rising Miss State team, Georgia will be poised to take down Texas and may just make the SEC championship game. DAWGS are definitely starting to gel but a tougher than suspected schedule remains. Survive and thrive baby!

If A&M and Bama win out, then UGA doesn't get into the SECC game, right? One of them needs to lose a conference game before the end of the season. Best option is that Texas beats A&M after UGA beats Texas… That loss to Bama was a self inflicted pedal-digit amputation for sure…. but no use crying over spilt milk…

Never has the statement , " Just WIn Baby" been more true than with this years UGA squad. I'm not sure(I don't think GS is either) how we took all of these 4 and 5 star defensive guys out of HS and made them look like they couldn't stop a decent Division 1 schools offense, but we did. Not sure falling behind and rallying late is the right recipe for future success, but we have obviously pulled it off up til now. While the SEC wails away on each other, Ohio St. will come to the playoffs having played cupcakes and no doubt fit and trim.

Loser the fans, firing of coaches which results in huge buy outs and bigger salaries for the next one results in higher ticket prices

It's just unfortunate for us that A&M and Bama aren't scheduled to play each other. That would take care of one of the losses that's necessary for UGA to play for the SEC Championship. If they both handle their business, we could be watching them play for the SEC championship in December even if we handle our business!

    GO DAWGS!

@UGADad20: Maybe "parity", be it college or professional sports, is not only a function of talent being spread around, but also the schedulers deciding who they want to lean on to minimize dynasties? In any case, the field does indeed seem a bit tilted for us. Go Dawgs!

it doesn’t help disprove the conspiracy theory that Greg Sankey and the sec hate Georgia.

@khummel I agree, I want to see some post season action with this team trending in the right direction! A healthy OL and experienced defense will be very competitive for the Natty. It wouldn't bother me if the Dawgs had to host a first-round game after last year's results of all four bye teams getting beat and all four first-round host teams winning. Either way, I think they will be more ready when playoff time comes.

    GO DAWGS!

    Let's keep it simple:

    Winner….UGA SECCG and Playoffs

Losers….All teams who play them in those crucial !games
