The news comes after Auburnâs latest SEC loss, as the Tigers lost 10-3 to Kentucky at home. Auburn drops to 1-5 in SEC play and is 4-5 on the season.

Unreal that he gets paid as much as he does by being an average coach. But according to Hugh Sleeze, auburn is close, close to what? Becoming more of a laughing stock? Being better than an average SEC team? Close to firing me? 😂

As an old timer with some public school coaching experience when you got a $500 annual supplement for coaching, it’s difficult to understand how coaches are paid millions of dollars because they’re not very good at what they were hired to do. It’s insane! As I told my wife, “ If I had know you could make millions coaching football and millions more if you weren’t good at it, I would have stayed with it.” But how could anyone have predicted this madness?

Regardless of what you might think, Schumann is actually a very good coach and recruiter. It would not benefit Georgia to lose him.
Tracy Rocker…..an immortal name at the top of the Auburn Tiger, War Eagle, Plainsman pantheon, NFL player/coaching experience, SEC coaching experience, coaching connections that assemble a top staff and a reputation that would attract top HS and portal players…..the only "downside" to be successful you'll have to field a team that must beat Bama or The Dawgs or both every year….on second thought, might be easier to just focus on B-Ball, maintaining the legacy left be Bruce Pearl.
Schuman is a better position coach, and recruiter than coordinator.

IMO....That's why Muschamp was holding his hand. Now that he's on his own...I think maybe it's time Kirby stepped in and took over.
I'm just sayin'.…a defense takes on the personality of it's coach. Shumann seems a little affable to me…kind of like Napier.
IMO....No "fire & passion" from the Coaching Staff.…could explain the seeming inability to tackle and create turnovers.
