I understand what you’re saying but if I agreed with you, we’d both be wrong

Someone should make a video to distribute to parents of high school seniors on how NOT to handle your kids college recruitment.

Doubt his parents even care that his word meant nothing.

    Not once but twice.

    That's bad.

Us expecting some punk kid still in high school to keep his word is what's most silly.

Lets name the dude that switched from Ga and it was a benefit to them...as it relates to their pro career…there ain't one

The kid wants Everyone to believe that he hadn’t told anybody and a decision hasn’t been made. But the media broke the story. I guess if the football gig doesn’t work out, he has a future in politics.

It is not my coach’s job to recruit NFL players. It is his job to recruit and sign a winning college football team. It is his job to develop that team via the players. Being great in high school means jack at the college level, which also rotates to the same at the pro level.
Maybe Vandy has turned a corner. No way I believe that but who knows or cares? No one at Vandy taught Pavia anything. That kid, for all his arrogance, came in with the tools.

A bad decision for curtis, I believe, but a good result for us. It is a team sport and we build teams. I always hope the best for our players after they graduate from UGA but their pro career is not my goal or concern.

And that is one big a$$ tattoo on the high school kid.

Best wishes Jared….indeed Pavia has lifted the anchor in Guitar Town, The Dores no longer The Doormat in the SEC….(this year) but he's gone after your bowl game….as a HS QB phenom, can you step into his shoes and keep The Dores afloat….we'll see….my prediction is that Vandy will always be a middling SEC team…BUT that's the success that got JF the big chance at P State….

Coach Lea is a HOT commodity…..but he's the lowest paid coach in the SEC and with success comes $$$$$ offers…….are you willing to TRAVEL??

That's really a good deal for us as well. We don't need someone who wants a guaranteed starting position at a hefty cost. We have done well in developing our QB's thru competition and won two Nat's in that manner. Happy for Vandy but more happy for the Dawgs

I don't understand the Justin Fields comparison.....at all!! If you recall, Fields committed to Georgia only after Trevor Lawrence decided to take his 5-star talents out of state to Clemson. Unlike Curtis, Justin actually kept his commitment and signed with Georgia. When it became obvious that Kirby was going to stick with Jake Fromm, for better or for worse, Fields transferred to Ohio State and played himself into a 1sr round draft pick.

What did Georgia accomplish in Fromm's remaining career? Where was he drafted? Yeah, exactly!! Hell, most Dawgs fans were glad to see Fromm leave. Perhaps that is the real reason for the Fields vitriol. Blame Kirby for that (or perhaps the racist baseball player).

Bottom line is that NO SCHOOL can be ruled out for top talent in the new NIL era.

I stood up for the kid when the rumors started. Thanks Jared, you changed my optimistic outlook reserved for college football to a cynical outlook like I have for politicians. You made your bed. Bet you'll cop out on them before it's over.

Nothing like a 17 year old changing his mind again and again. While disappointing the coaches should know by now there is always a chance there is going to be a last minute flip. 5 star QBs never seem to pan out too well for UGA anyway. Stafford was an incredible talent but never won anything I'm aware of. Besides, we won two National Championships with a walk-on from Blackshear, Ga. Better focus should be on play-makers (RBs, WRs, TEs, etc) that want to play for the program than a high school hero who you wouldn't let your daughter date or much less walk your dog.

I'm just looking forward to our D knocking him around for about 6 or 7 sacks next season.

The Dawgs dodged a bullet. Who needs a QB who can’t be trusted? Character and loyalty are vital. This young man has shown he lacks those qualities. Hope he matures into a better man soon.

We really can't be very tolerant of you, Jared. You had ample time to decide and commit to whoever in the universe you wanted to. All you did, with your not telling the Georgia coaching staff you were flipping again, was take any chance of ours to recruit a high-level qb. I was once totally OK with you going to school in your hometown, and still am, but the way you flipped again changes everything. I hope you feel the pounding of of our DL"s shoulder pads in your gut 12 times a game for the next few years.GO DAWGS

Do you guys believe in bounties?

Joe Hamilton was a FSU victim years ago at Grant Field.

    It worked.
