What a well deserved and exciting honour for D.J .Schockley. David Greene was such an exemplary college QB, and as good as Schockley was, couldn't beat him out. Like Stetson, and like Carson, he waited his turn without complaining and became a winner and a much beloved DGD. Congratulations D.J.!!

Yes, what if he hadn’t been hurt and played vs fla? Another what if is… what if Shockley had taken a redshirt season and would have had two seasons to be the starter at Georgia which could have better prepared him for a longer NFL career, not to mention the more success he would have had at Georgia? I’m not saying anything bad about Shockley, just saying what if.

Jim Donnan mentioned on a podcast once he almost burned David Greene’s redshirt in 2000 so that would’ve given DJ another year too which is another interesting “what if”

Awesome, Shock is one of my all time favorite Georgia QB. Would love to see him in a coaching role with the team.
