A big falcon presence at a DAWGS practice is great. Showing up when the draft rolls around is what really matters though.

Does anyone know of any articles or websites that shows how the players did that participated today? It would be interesting to see how Noah Thomas did since he was somehow not invited to the nfl combine.
That trade and draft pick from last year hurts more than ever now for the Falcons. Only 5 picks this year and nothing to show from that expensive pick.

No doubt, they could've had Gurley, Chubb, Bowers, Jordan, Jalen ETC... Just recently they could've gotten Bennett and given him a chance and saved money, instead they bring in someone that no Georgia fan likes in CTE Tua. The Falcons have little brain power when it comes to filling their stadium and not having to pump noise into it. Hopefully they've learned or Matt can make up for lost time, but honestly... the what ifs have made me care less who the Falcons take.

    GO DAWGS

"Kirby Smart on the Atlanta Falcons: ‘I think they know what this University has to offer"____Kirby "Mad Dawg" Smart

    🤣🤣🤣......Well....they "do", NOW!

They're a little slow, in Atlanta, from what I've heard. The Fans aren't, though.

We were just 2 games away from putting on some of those blinders or a hood, that you see em using in Falconry. I rhink they work better than the "New Orleans Bag Head". Lol.

All's I can say, is...."Better late than never, Blank....what the hell, took so long"?.

They started bringing in sone of "Kirby's Dawgs", with Lorenzo Carter and Schaffer. That gave em a taste...and, now they're hooked.

Philly, GB, LA, LV, DAL, NE....and now....ATL are ALL becoming Bulldog Junkies. I think Philly and LA got together and had an Intervention in Atlanta, to save Arthur Blank's rear end.

For whatever reason...the incompetent people around him, convinced him that it didn't matter, where a player came from. They "Followed the Stats & Hype" right off the edge of the mountaintop.

Now they're callin' on all Dawgs to lead em back to the top, with the grit and determination they forged in Athens. Lol....my how things change....but, this is how we learn.

Wonder if Kirby's Boys will command a bigger signing bonus than the rest. You know....supply & demand. Lol

They could've had Pickens and Dean in the 2nd & 3rd Rd.

Two...THAT'S 2 !!!...future "Hall of Famer's" that were passed over at least twice by Atlanta....in the same Draft class.

And....let's not forget James Cook...another possible HOF'er, passed over by the "Bird Brains" in Atlanta.

That not even mentioning the 5 first rounders they whiffed on.

Then. Just when you thought they were completely incompetent....they reached another level by picking Shaffer over Salyer, in the 7th round.

Lol....Salyer was the REAL Guard, playing out of position, at Tackle. And, was a much better player overall...imo. But…apparently, the geniuses in the Falcon front office, weren't aware of that.

That , one overtly incompetent move...told me, everything I needed to know about the Falcon organization. Actually, there were about 7 moves they made in that Draft, that were incompetent. That was just the most egregious....imo.

2021 & 2022 UGA Bulldogs....were 2 of the best teams in CFB History. With talent & athleticism galore.

And, the Atlanta Falcons....approximately 1 hour away.…completely missed out.

Somebody tell me, how that's even possible. Lol....I give up!.

When I was a kid the Falcons were prolly the worst team in the NFL. They were awful. So much so I grew up a Steelers fan. I still don't like them. I tend to ignore people and organizations that consistently do dumb things. Just sayin.

Lolol....I remember the old joke in the '70's..…about how the coaches put together a team using the sparse number of Fans that showed up on GameDay.

Or, was that the Braves they were talking about. Lol....doesn't matter....they were both "stank" at the time.

Brother…Did you actually just refer to George Pickens as a future HOFer?

  • BigDawg61BigDawg61 Posts: 3,614 ✭✭✭✭✭ Graduate

Lol...I know it's a reach. But, not out of the question.

Imo....barring injury....25 year old George Pickins' illustrious career is just beginning. And, Dallas will get his best...cause that's just "what they do" with receivers. He will be used hard, in Dallas.

I think of him as the Lynn Swann of today. He knows how to navigate a defensive backfield....make extraordinarily acrobatic catches in an above average catch perimeter.…and runs a 4.4 40.

All he needs now, is to play for a winner to rake in HOF Hype. Swan probably wouldn't be there, either.…if not for the Steel Curtain Defense.

Oops....there I go invoking Defensive Support in a conversation about Offènse, again. Oh well....I just be sayin stuff...huh Kasey?. Lolol
