Hey folks - as a member of the DawgNation community, please remember to abide by simple rules of civil engagement with other members:
- Please no inappropriate usernames (remember that there may be youngsters in the room)
- Personal attacks on other community members are unacceptable, practice the good manners your mama taught you when engaging with fellow Dawg fans
- Use common sense and respect personal differences in the community: sexual and other inappropriate language or imagery, political rants and belittling the opinions of others will get your posts deleted and result in warnings and/ or banning from the forum
- 3/17/19 UPDATE -- We've updated the permissions for our "Football" and "Commit to the G" recruiting message boards. We aim to be the best free board out there and that has not changed. We do now ask that all of you good people register as a member of our forum in order to see the sugar that is falling from our skies, so to speak.

Omaha has always been called a "Pitchers park". Deeper down the lines than Foley and deeper in the power alleys and ball does not carry as well unless the wind is blowing out.
they are starting another freshman tonight who has 13 appearances this year with one start.
pretty good strikeout to walk ratio, not even sure if he has a won-loss record,….. but they sure do feel confident trotting another freshman out to face us …..
Hope it bodes well tonight!
You basically have 11 players all trying to be the hero/G.O.A.T. rather than playing as a team. Result of that is they are all goats! Reminds of when I was playing golf, if I played in a scramble, it took me a week or 2 to get my game back after all the swinging too hard.
It has been fun to watch this team all year. Hard to get to the CWS. Congrats to OU and UNC they deserve to be where they are at.
We have us a baseball coach now lets keep him.
Great owning Texas not only in Football lol.
Great season and this team had fun all year..
Truly, it was a fun time backing these Dawgs this year!
Just would have like to see Volchko pitch one more time!
Yawn! Wake me on Sept. 19.
Go away
@max Yes, by all means go back to bed. Stay in your house. Don't come out.
Broken-hearted as usual any time that our beloved DAWGS lose anything. Congratulations to Oklahoma. The way they are playing I can easily see them sweeping North Carolina. For me? It’ll always be… GO DAWGS!!!
Feel like it's the hottest team right now - OU. We were - I felt - the 2nd hottest at the time in the field. Feel like their pitchers rose to the occasion, and unfortunately our three best - Volchko, Aoki & Byrd - were all unavailable at crunch time.
Go Dawgs!!!
Congratulations to the third most successful UGA baseball team ever - only behind the national champion 1990 team & the national runner-up 2008 team.
I feel that they equaled the success of the 2008 squad by winning reg season, SEC tournament & sweeping the regional/super regional as well as getting to the semi-finals of the CWS!
When you think about all of that, it's hard to argue with placing them 2nd behind the 90 squad only!
Yeah was a good year for them all the way around. SEC Championship and you make it to the Final Four of Baseball. Not bad.
You have to acknowledge the disappointment they were just a few wins from the Championship. But you cant forget the wins they had along the way. Two big ones against Miss St. Dramatic win in the clincher. Volchko performance in the opener. Beating Texas twice.
Something to build on they seem to have program momentum.
bats went too cold. It happens
happening to the Braves right now. It's a weird sport.
Thought the dawgs had more talent than anyone remaining, but it's true that good pitching beats good hitting. Still a fantastic year.
