Hey folks - as a member of the DawgNation community, please remember to abide by simple rules of civil engagement with other members:
- Please no inappropriate usernames (remember that there may be youngsters in the room)
- Personal attacks on other community members are unacceptable, practice the good manners your mama taught you when engaging with fellow Dawg fans
- Use common sense and respect personal differences in the community: sexual and other inappropriate language or imagery, political rants and belittling the opinions of others will get your posts deleted and result in warnings and/ or banning from the forum
- 3/17/19 UPDATE -- We've updated the permissions for our "Football" and "Commit to the G" recruiting message boards. We aim to be the best free board out there and that has not changed. We do now ask that all of you good people register as a member of our forum in order to see the sugar that is falling from our skies, so to speak.

Amaris Williams shares first comments since knee injury
Amaris Williams shares first comments since knee injury
Georgia has not yet commented on Williams or his status moving forward. Graham Coffey of Dawgs Central, who first reported Williamsâ injury, stated that it was a torn ACL.
Comments
First of all, I am sorry this happened to this kid. I pray for a successful return to football for him. My comment is more on Georgia's luck. You get a guy that played all of last season for Auburn and he comes here and blows out his knee. The question has been asked before about Georgia's practices. Are they too physical? Do we lose players because of the type of training they are getting? I am just asking the question because I am curious. I'm not making a statement either way, because I do not have the facts. I'm interested in other's opinions on this…
Am I the only one who couldn’t translate Williams’ instagram update? I think he must still be speaking “Auburnish”. Go Dawgs!!!
Great statement, kid. “Comeback fin be sum serious, I’a be bk to fk shi up soon.”
What-a bout dem words be spoke in a lil’ less ghetto , know what I be meaning dog? You ain’t be at Auburn no mo…
Can Sb trslt wut bro sd
Can anyone translate this into plain English?
comeback will be something serious. I will be back to f*** s*** up soon. The words with stars are cuss words.
Another season with no pass rush?
Not impressed
So depressing on so many levels. First, the player we were hoping to improve our pass rush is out for the year. Second, said player posted the above to his Instagram account. Third, the only "shi" that's been "fkd up" is his knee and the illusion that these players are "student athletes"; they are simply mercenaries.
Looking at his stats last year at Auburn, looks like we were gambling on his upside because he hasn't done "shi" to date…
Maybe while recuperating he could learn a little plain civil English
“Comeback fin be sum serious,” Williams said on his Instagram account. “I’a be bk to fk shi up soon.”
Somebody wanna tell me what the F that means.
Q was looking good last year.
heard Chase Linton was looking great this spring also. New coach is teaching better technique I’ve read so I think our pass rush will be improved.
Granted the practices are tough but I don't believe an ACL tear would be from that as much as from a non-contact injury. Not all are non-contact, but a large percentage are, especially in very muscular individuals. Tough break for him and for the Dawgs. I believe there is insurance on those deals so I would assume (and I know how dangerous assuming can be!) that deal won't be costly to the DAWGS, but his absence will. Fast healing and come back strong next year!
Just heard on 92.9 the game something about an achilles injury to ERIV. Don't shoot the messenger. Said in passing and nothing here on dawgnation. IDK. But if true bad week for the bulldogs.
I wouldn’t be surprised if he transferred again and doesn’t ever wear the red and black.
