    I can tell you Jeff!
    1. Recruits use UGAs prestige to get high bids from other schools. Because if you are good enough to get a scholarship at UGA, other schools are going to want you to.

    2. Kirby firmly believes in not paying kids out of high school, so naturally all the top tier talent will go to Miami, any Texas team, Oregon, or the B10 schools who have donors with deeper pockets than what SEC teams have.

I agree with some of what you say. Clearly CFB and CKS are at a crossroads. I do expect CFB to change. There has to be more structure than what we are seeing now. The pressure is mounting on CKS to adapt and overcome. Not winning a playoff game in 3 years is not what was forecasted for UGA after '21-'22.

Watching CKS to see what changes he is willing to make to allow UGA to get more elite level players into the program. Especially at QB.

As for recruiting, is CKS taking silent recruit commitments from players to keep players from being targeted for poaching by Mia and TX with better offers($)? Or, possibly, waiting to take commitments from HS players to keep UGA's NIL cards confidential until later in the process to prevent Mia and TX poaching? IDK.

It seems that UGA and CKS are taking a step back by not spending as big as others to let the system play out and settle into what in will become. Hate to think that CKS is satisfied to finish the year #6-#10 for a few years to finalize and refine the strategy necessary to continue in the new CFB.

In a sense winning back to back SECC for better or worse has delayed CKS from being as pressed even moreso into changing. In other words if we had lost those two games and then the playoff games, the natives(admin and elite donors) would be a lot more restless. He can hang his hat on those two trophies that aren't as illustrious as it used to be"back in the day." Dabo banked his not participating in NIL in his 2 NC's and it set Clemson back to the point now where they aren't even thought of in the top 8 programs any longer!

Only winning two straight SEC Championships is just unacceptable. The only acceptable outcome is the national championship to some.

To hell with Nebraska...and Cincy. I've referred to the Dawgs as Big Red for over 60 years. They can "eat the Yellow snow"....as far as I'm concerned.

The Dawgs are a helluva lot bigger and redder....and hairy'er. Lol

Maybe so....Now! Lol...that wasn't always the case. At least not down here where we bleed Red & Black....and wear silver britches with a "G" tattooed or shaved on our bare chest. Lmao

I started calling em that back in the early 70's as a nod to the U.S. Army's "Big Red 1" [1st Div Infantry]. As in...a force to be reckoned with. I read a lot of war books as a kid. Lol.

The guys i hung around with also called em Big Red. It stuck after Ray Goff signed....cause, Big Red was also a chewing tobacco. And, Goof always looked like he had a chaw in his mouth.

Lol....but, you go ahead and call em whatever you want. Just don't call em "Left Out Lucy"....cause, they won't miss another dance.

That's not the case anymore...imo. I know....if....the Dawgs win the SEC every year.....then....they are undoubtedly the "Best Team" every year.

    Why?

Because, winning a "National Championship" in a 12-16-24 Team field with single elimination is not a Championship. It's a Show....a Mini-Series, with great ratings....cause, it's great TV.

It takes as much "luck" as anything else when you give everybody "another" shot at the Ring. Not to mention the obviously tilted playing field between Conferences.

Until they breakdown and run this thing like a REAL Playoff...it's irrelevant to the Season that it's supposed to represent.

Teams are "voted" in....behind closed doors....with all the transparency of "mercury in a bottle". And,, very little oversight or justification, that passes the "Logic & Integrity Test".

I don't ever hear an argument about "the Championship process" at any other level of CFB. Just the D1 level.

The CFB Czars, think they are as entitled as Notre Dame. How did that happen over the last 100 unchecked years?

By God....they were so awash in corrupt dollars, they had no where else to put it. So.....they started giving it to everybody, including below average players sponging an education while riding the bench.

Judges, Lawyers, Players & Coaches, Administrators.....EVERYBODY is getting a piece of that big fat pie....EXCEPT for the Fans.

Where's our piece? We paid for it? Lol
