100% correct! OU has the money for now and will probably win for now. He will then take that number and start a bid process for the actual winner, like you wrote.
Also don’t be surprised if we prioritize this young man and make it worth his while to stay home and committed to the dawgs
@Kasey UGA has prioritized several recruits the past 2 or 3 years, only to have them flip their commitment at the last minute due to a larger NIL offer. After UGA has spent countless hours, and quite a few dollars recruiting these kids for 2, 3 even 4 years sometimes. And most of those same recruits say it isnt about the money when they flip..yeah right.
and by that same token many have stayed committed to us. And UGA has flipped their fair share from other schools over the years as well. Have to think we were offering something financial to do so also.
He committed to UGA, now time to hold on to him until signing day.
