This unit also includes a 5th year senior in Terrell Foster who has been in Schumann's defense four years now! Talking about extra leadership!
Raylen could also opt to be NIL retained for a 5 for 5 season if it is adopted as expected. Depending on how much we want to pay retention for a green dot leader for the 27 defense. Just sayin…
Envision a 27 depth chart of Raylen, Zayden & Justin Williams if he also opts to come back.
Cole is the only one I view as for certain likely jumping to the draft.
Believe we will look to retain at least one of the three and Williams is the most likely to obtain this, but don't think Raylen is out of the question if the 5 for 5 play is indeed adopted starting with the next calendar year.

They were definitely a special group who's contribution to the championship is something that we will discuss here for many more years. This LB group was complimented by a DL group that should also be part of that conversation. Jordan Davis, Devonte Wyatt, and Travon Walker were soaking up double team blocking which seemed to create a lot of opportunities for the line backers. If that situation can be replicated with the talented LB and DL groups that we have on the 2026 squad we can expect to see something special. Even if they aren't able to perform at the same level as the historic 2021 team, they can still be good enough to keep a lot of OCs up at night!

Scary to think how good these guys are! They will be replaced with 3 stars so a huge drop-off is the future. For now, it is kick some butt time!!
