Orlando “Tubby” Smith was named one of six people to be inducted into the College Basketball Hall of Fame on Monday.

Tubby was great.
if he stayed he may not have a title but he’d have a statue outside the Steg and probably the court named after him
Tubby spent a half in our box at the 1995 Peach Bowl. Helluva nice guy. We lost a lot when he left. Stopped our basketball program in its tracks. Never recovered.
